Another thing to note is: its not the tricks or dribbles you can do against lower quality opponents that make you great skillful player... can you do it when your opponent is equally, if not better fit than you are? can you do it when your opponent also understands the ball as well as you do, if not better?

So, in the first 2 minutes of the video, the kid is 5 years old and playing at 1 in the morning? Either they didn't change the date & time info on their camera or they're trying to fool everyon about the kids age in that part of the video...

at that age individual skill and technique is way more important than tactical awareness and passing. that can be drilled when the kid when he gets older. focus too much on passing, discipline and that kind of thing at too young an age and u get the mono dimensional technically poor player u get in england.

he has gr8 skills, i m a footballer too so i know what it takes to b one. boy is excellent, & others r also correct that he needs to pass. i would like u all to consider his age. he has skills n the only thing he requires is a good coach n then i assure u that he wont give others a chance to complain.

the objective is to score.
i'd rather dribble the ball and score on my own than to give the ball to my team mates who I know will lose the ball.
the "learn to pass" shit is only needed when your team is decent.
and no, Im not some soccer noob, my favorite team is spain because they pass and keep possesion of the ball so well. I love to see crisp one-touch passing but this kid has no need to do so.
