A lot of times a trucks' ass end is too light and they spin down or out either way they get stuck especially when the driver doesn't understand to maintain an easy speed through mud and sugar sand,a consistent speed no reving and flooring or slowing down.

@EBBadd1 I drove out the Ford. No amount of feathering the throttle would keep it from hopping.
