Yes, this will catch big fish. I fish the FAT Squid two to four feet off bottom.

im fishing in long beach,ca pier would this catch big fish and how many feet down the water or just on top thanks

@streamingvideos1 i would go close to the bottom but you won't catch anything off that pier...
