  • White Knoll is going up to 5A next year. Defending State Champs vs. Defending State Champs.

  • Who disliked this video of high schoolers performing their hearts out? Must have been the runners up...lol. Go Wando and congrats

  • Lexington High completely maxed out at the finals, but I guess it wasn't good enough. Still we felt great about it, as you might have heard after our show.

  • I just realized they have green plumes. Oh and I saw Wando's 2011 show last night at Walterboro. My whole band loves it guys. Love,

    CFHS

  • Just saying, Boiling Springs show was way more energetic and all around more impressive. Still good job.

  • Dude I saw this band live and they KICK BRASS!

  • In this band this year.. Freshman.... 'S gonna be fun.. :D

  • @TheSn4zzle haters

  • @TheSn4zzle JEALOUSY. right now, I'm jealous.

  • Awesome as always :) However, it's not up to the usual wando standards set in the past few years imo...but thats only me. And poor guy that fell near the end :(

  • never ceases to amaze me! Go Wando!!!

  • man i wanna march at wando so bad!!!! you guts are awesome!!!!!!!

  • yall did a great job

  • I love this. You guys are awesome.

  • Outstanding Job Wando!!! Keep it up!!!

  • Man... Ya'lls band is huge... Coming from a 150 unit Nation Ford member

  • watch wando 2006-2009 tell me what sounds similar

  • Congratulations Wando on winning the 5A SC State Championship

  • Well Done, Well Executed, Well Achieved.. From Byrnes.

  • 3:33 - 3:47 is what wando does best... when marching they play quiet and then hold and play loud... you honestly cant deny that

  • @Qwertyfng and who did better in music?? okay thanks : )

  • Whats the opening tune?

  • @charlescab82 Vocalise, Op. 34, No. 14 by Rachmaninoff

  • Dude when wando all compacted together and played so loud with good tone, it was amazing. That was a big moment.

  • summerville clearly played the music better than boiling springs..

  • @KiOxWrecKageGB They obviously didn't have the effect Boiling Springs had however.

  • @KiOxWrecKageGB clearly not seeing as though we placed better than you. Summerville was very good. But theres no need to trash us.

  • @Qwertyfng from one judge. the other had us above summerville. Okay Thanks.

  • another year of big hits when not moving.. : ( well done otherwise wando.. my favorite part.. the drumline at 2:35 its great..

  • yeah it was very slippery especially right there about 8 steps from the hash on the 50

  • the whole show seemed rather anit-climactic. i was waiting for a really big moment, then nothing.

  • @orcawhale4472 now play that and put some drill with it. Real drill

  • @TheElPutoNegro ignorance

  • @orcawhale4472 the word "ignorance" is invalid in the given context. I'm only stating the facts here. There is no need for name calling

  • Was the ground wet? The flute and the tuba I saw fall looked like they slipped on the grass.

Anyways its always nice to hear the music that Wando plays, congrats you guys.

  • great job. congrat's!

  • everyone has their own signature something. Wando has good rips and big brass and they know how to use it.

  • a flute falls at 8:45 in the back on the 50

  • @oskybear haha that was my little sister!!!! She said there was a huge mud pit in the middle of the field which i believe seeing as how it had been raining the whole day before...i still laugh at it though...out of love of course <3

  • @foureveryoung99 falls have really nothing to do with score.

  • very well executed. well done wando.

  • ii think uu guys did good :) ., im from boiling springs and honestly .. we knw we did our best ! as im sure uu guys did too !!! congrats on uur win !

  • I think wando deserves first place. Boiling springs had a fantastic performance as well as all the other bands. But wando pulled .6 points above second place. I think it was really close, but again they deserve first.

  • I heard wando has to tryout for band, and they have to pay lots of money

  • @gorillaman127 Wando does not have to try out for band, and they pay band fees just like every other school. Trips to Indianapolis, Florida, and Georgia are obviously going to be a little more expensive than staying at local and in-state competitions.

  • No offense but that plume trick looked extremely familiar... Summerville '08? Also, why does your band keep repeating music you've already played? Someone needs to come up with some new ideas asap because rehashing other bands tricks and replaying your old songs is getting old FAST!

  • Greer did the plume trick in '05 as well i think.

And i'm sure that someone did it well before them.

It's not about who does it first. It's all about how visually effective it is.

  • @TheRealPiggles lol if you really think summerville '08 was the first band to do a plume change, it'd be good for you to look up Ronald Reagan HS 2002 at BOA grand nationals.

  • @papajohn5656 I was saying that Summerville did the EXACT same plume trick, neon green and used to represent nature...

  • @TheRealPiggles yea lol and summerville also had about 20 seconds of the same music as boiling springs. (wando- congratulations!)

  • nice job wando

  • I Love This Band , But I've Heard Their First Movement Before From The Same Band - They Repeat A Lot Of Stuff. But They Are Quite Amazing Though.

  • When did the sousa fall?

  • Comment removed

  • Wando is an AMAZING band and i only found 2 mistakes out of the whole show besides a interval problem here and there. #1 tuba fell, but he recovered really nicely #2 later on the tubas were all in time except for one at 4:40(the one at the top). I do still think though that it isn't fair that they got first but then again y would they not if it only happened to one and it was probably just a little wet and slippery

  • One person(out of hundreds) making a marching error ≠ the overall success of a band at a competition.

  • Comment removed

  • dont you get points for fixing problems in marching band competitions?like people falling and such?

  • So... Apparently, a tuba can fall in the performance, and you still get 1st. We had no one fall, and we get 5th? Um, yeah, right.

  • @Glaedr144 Congratulations on representing your band in a positive manner.

  • @Glaedr144 @crosmyheartnhopeudie you don't get points deducted for falling. if you recover well it may help, but overall a fall really has no impact as long as the whole band isn't falling over each other because they can't march.

  • YAY!!!! I WISH I COULD HAVE BEEN THERE TO SEE Y'ALL!!!

    GO WANDO!!!!!
