you don't need the double bed you need to see all of their heart events in order to marry that and you need to do the request event but in this case selena has no request event

hmm im not really sure then becos i had luke at 8 hearts and then the mayor told me about it. why dont you try getting someone else to 8 hearts and then if the mayor comes about the blue bird you just give the feather to luke?

Listen, you posted this in Feburary so you probably already figured this out. To marry Selena you have to get the first rainbow and go to Toucan Island. Talk to Sue and she'll ask you to talk to Selena about something. Go and talk to her. Once you've talked to her talk to Sue again. She'll thank you. This is Selena's heart event. It does not happen at five hearts. I didn't marry her in my game but I did everone's heart events. Hope this helps

I'll help u people out:

1.) Complete the heart event (at least 8)

2.) Recieved the gifts given by the bachelor/ette. Went to eat lunch together. Asked her/him out.

3.) COMPLETED the QUEST given by ur BACHERLOR/ETTE.

4.) People forget this part (IMPORTANT!):

Propose on a Sunny day, non-festival day, and when they are not working. :)

No double-bed is required. F.Y.I

P.S.: You must have completed Ben and Daren's rainbow!

Okay people there is something you must understand. you have to have the person at eight hearts or higher the double bed doesn't matter because you get that when you get married. you have to go a date with them and you must complete the 5th heart level special request otherwise they don't realise what you're trying to do.

It's different for everyone eligable to marry. but when they have five hearts they should ask you to do something for them. Now you don't have to complete it while they only have five hearts you can complete it at any time, but it must be finished in order to marry them. For example, Gills request is that you find his lost diary and owen asks you to make it to the bottom of ganache mine and just different stuff like that. it seems a little unnecessary but it has to be done.

Actually you don't need the double bed, the wife/husband comes with it. What you need to do is raise them up to 10 hearts and they'll accept. I learned the hard way.... (wasted about 2200 on a bed)
