  • This story went out on April 1st (April fools day ppl)

  • It's the history channel they got proof it's real... They even sent ppl to check and see if it were possible andit was true

  • @IntoYoFace How can you call this fake???? Its not i saw it on the military channel and history channel....

  • fake!

  • thats some crazy shit

  • That's one crazy israeli. XD

  • LOL!!

    That's awesome!

  • lol i thought the hydraulic fuel would leak out of the damaged wing o.o

  • wow - you can also see in the shots of the plane, he had his engines at different levels, and one airbrake deployed on one side, he had something of an instinct for it!

  • How much of that would be pilot input and how much would be the onbord computer automatically compensating for the dammage.

  • @leapoffaith20 I know this is almost a year later but I see no one answered you. To answer your question, it was really all pilot input, because there is no "automatic" damage controller on aircraft like that, aside from computer overrides and and very minor things. Trust me when I say they definately did NOT equip the F15 with a "fly with one wing mode"

More to do with aerodynamics overall. The slower you go, the more wingspan you need. Think of a slow biplane as opposed to a rocket "wingspan"

  • great pilot and great plane

  • wow i didnt knowan aircraft could do that

  • whoops 66,000

  • hey im the 70,000 view! yay

  • How can you turn when the ailerons are on the wings

  • He has one wing so he has one alierons. And the elevator acts as an alerion when you turn too. So if you were to turn left, the left elevator would go down and the right would go up.

  • great pilot

  • 60 million dollars lost.. good thing they didnt die tho

  • every MiG-29-based plane could do that too.

  • i think the point was more that the pilot was great, not necessarily that the plane was great.

  • well this is a documented incident,,only incident that involve mig-29 is the 1's that engage at f-16 in kosovo but got raped by the f-16 n the first gulf war where 2 mig-29 went against yanks f-18 n guess what happens,,mig got raped by f-18 too,,why dont u admit that this plane is a good plane,,heck your mig-29 was a copy o the f-15,,the russian spy on yanks for what i heard..

  • but the stealth bomber b2 is awesome wich rapes people on land

  • b2 looks cool but its really overratted. Very expensive acft. The b1b flys 60% of all combat missions, the b52 30%, while the b2 only 10%. Doesnt carry the payload the b1b can and definetly doesnt move as fast. Im partial to the b1 though since i work on these bad boys. During desert storm we flew low levels over known targets without dropping a single bomb, made many of the forces surrender.

  • @kryptonite8494 Right but the B2 is stealth. Its only needed on missions where it is either unkown if the enemy has AA capability, or if it is known that they do, and in those (few) circumstances, it makes quite a difference. It is also necessary for its first strike capability, as it wont be detected like other bombers until on target. I agree with you that it is overrated overall, but there is no denying it has a very specialized and important role in america's air superiority.

  • @kryptonite8494 I will add though that there is no bomber more feared by our enemies than the B-52. Since our enemies or primitive they arent overly impressed with the B2, since they wont see any bomber coming. Air force used to LOVE packing the B52 to capacity with carpet bombs and just lay innescapable waste to HUGE stretches of terrain. Not so much anymore though...not too many huge ass numbers of enemies to kill anymore and carpet bombing aint cheap.

  • great pilot and plane

  • If that wing was magnetic bi wing were both wings have magnetic pull against each other less trouble. Wing air pull pressure is less by using greater magnet pull changing it with a computer program. Never know russia might have one already. magnetic wings that can be changed to act like one wing or in this case a wing can be expanded by changing the magnetic wing pressure against each other.

  • now thats wont great pilot, and thats one great plane

  • he probably had an xbox controller connected to his airplane and used cheatcodes to fly with one wing - you can do that :P

  • haha xbox controler

  • Amazing Story

  • thats a very cool story

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!!1 NICE PILOT .....

  • Nice piloting, so the after burners kicked it enough speeed to stabilise its wide body? thats awesome :P

  • Israeli pilots are awesome! Some of the best in the world. Very elite.

  • dude that must take some mad skills to fly with one wing

  • At a quess the A4 was cremated in the air

  • if he shot off a missle, im guessin it was only a drone that fireballed.

  • that must of been one hell of a view to see land. and does anybody know what happened to the A4 pilot? you dont have to be an expert to know that "fireballed immediately" is a bad thing

  • It's not the airplane, it's just that Israeli pilots are the best pilots in the world. We have gone through many wars since the declaration of independence in 1948, and we proved it again and again.

  • I agree with you but I don't think that with a different plane of the same generation this would have been possible

  • the spoiler would throw the nose down you dumbass

  • How many Palestinian babys did YOU kill today?

  • You should wonder also about how many Israelis have been killed (including children) by Palestinian kamikazes...

  • God protects his people! What happen to the guy in the A4? Did he eject? Doesn't sound to good for the A4 when the F-15 piolit said "the A4 fireball'ed immediately". I hoped he survived too.

  • Lol. Crazy!

  • it was its 2 tails and it back flap that helped it fly.

  • the back flap is only to stop the plane while landing...

the air intake on both sides kept it straight, while the left wing was producing heavy amounts of drag.

Good thing it was only a training accident instead of a real combat, 'cause he'd be up a sh*t creek with no paddle...

  • it's not called a back flap... those are called Stabilators or Rear Stabs. The flaps are there for increased lift during slow speeds and to help slow the aircraft alon with the speedbrake

  • then ill say again... the F-15 is wide enough to fly with no wings

  • they probably got removed dude

  • What happened to our previous comments?
