Very good job mate...i wuz stuck on dreamweaver for 8hours plus and i have done many things until i saw ur video...good job mate....plz keep up ur job and i would like keep in touch with ya mate...
Many thanks, Mr Lloyd. I have been really struggling to get my head round making and using a local server with my DW CS5. 10 minutes in the company of your tutorial and all is sorted. Nice work.
Outstanding. If this helps others: I had already developed my site on dw8. Already installed and set up databases on mysql/php in xampp. Problem I had was connecting dw to the databases. This solved it - took me back a step to the vital setting up of the server for testing. This way dw now recognises it and I get a db connection first time. Just remember, use the 'root' php superadmin pw with dw to get the db connection right.
MrShawnlloyd, you are the greatest man alive!. Thank you for making this video. It's lucid and accessible. Installing PHP and MySQL had been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. In 9 minutes you got me up and running. Awesome dude.
