kiss me where the sun dont shine the past was yours but the futures mine your're out of time.Squires reni mani and of course broonie can u imagine if they were still together. class stone roses tune!!
A buddy of mine and I use to cruise up and down Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, California cranking The Stone Roses. Needless to say, we got plenty of stares. What a band!
As much as I despise the human vileness that is Ian Brown, this is one of my favourite songs. Generally anything the group has released has been brilliant. Just a shame about their lead singer.
This was originally released in July 1989. It was on the album which came out a couple of months before but this is a different version. They weren't happy with the album version so they re-recorded it. This version has a much more bass-heavy, fuller sound.
1 of my fav songs by 1 of my fav bands n 1 of the 1st songs I learned 2 play on the bass. The world is a sadder place without the magic of the Stone Roses!
So u shud, go buy their blackpool dvd, amazin! Or watch their performance of I Am The Resurrection in Blackpool on youtube, truly amazing! You wnt regret it!

Time t make some music!

I can not think of another video made with live footage that captures the atmosphere and mood of the song as well as this one does.
It's amazing.
The song is timeless. It reminds me of those carefree-disco nights when you get lost in the crowd and forget yourself.

Love these guys. I bought their greatest hits cd in 96, but what year did this song come out? This is one of my favorites on that cd.

Thanks for the info and the clip! I'll have to listen to the other version and compare.

Didn't they release single from the album that were either mixed differently or rerecorded? I would love to get a hold of some of the original 7".
