Such a sweet sad song. The story goes that the guy that played the vibes on this track was invited to Electric Lady to record his part shortly after Jimi's death, He talked about how sad it was to be in this beautiful custom made recording world built just for Jimi and he would never see the studio completely finished. Jimi only had the one overdub left and hadn't chosen between guitar or vibes and it seemed fitting to finish with vibes and they add a lot to the song.

With most women, the guy does not "have a say" when it comes to getting married; he is just there to play the role that she cooked up for him when she was 13; the guy is just a footnote at his own funeral..oops - wedding. If I meet a woman that hasn't had her wedding preplanned from before we met, I might change my mind.

Im not like most women though, I'm just stubborn about this one thing because Jimi is a huge part of my life and I'd like his music to be played when I walk the aisle.
