  • badazz. nice bass, great rappin' too.

  • Lol i heard this song on Skins Uk . ;D

  • Man, i miss home...

  • Mapaputsi is so underrated!

  • Does anyone have lyrics?

  • what language is he speaking?

  • @marianamishan Zulu but with a lot of slang in it some zulu poeple wouldn't understand everything he's saying

  • @marianamishan zulu

  • its so ADDICTING !!!

  • Yeh yeh yeh. Music postiv si si.

  • skins !

  • video2mp3(.)com should solve all of your problem of not finding this song

  • I KNOW!!!! it's not on freakin iTunes!!!! that's bullshit

  • @MrOogdaboogda

    Definitely a good shout there.

  • I used to listen to this tune in High school in Namibia 30 minutes before exams..

Now I did thesame thing before my state exams in Europe in Czech Republic.

I can really dance to it so well......my fav.

  • White people & black people are equal. But White & Asian people advanced their civilization a shit load faster. Don't get me wrong, it looked like Shaka Zulu was onto something, and if he'd been born along ass time ago might have started the movement upward.

But the people of central / southern Africa, and the natives of the Americas, never quite moved past the neolithic age. Though ironically Egypt was the first great & influential civilization.

  • @BellmontXP You sound like a high-school textbook. Don't believe everything you read – they say history is written by the victors... but even that phrase is biased to make you think that victory is a superlative. Technological advancement is not necessarily the best measure of "advanced". Love is perhaps a better measure. Friendly people, with love in their hearts, transcend artificial national borders and understand that we are all siblings – children of Earth.

  • @geoidesic

Possibly, but every country has plenty of saints and sinners. With the possible exception of Canada, I don't think anyone's people are genuinely nicer than the others.

  • @BellmontXP You might want to spend some time in Canada before you make naive blanket statements like that. Just because some people were nice to you in a bar in Vancouver doesn't mean the entire country works that way. Having been to South Africa, obviously it's a little more intense, but think before you type.

  • 100% pure

  • Gauteng my boetie!

  • I like the song very much. But I dont understand a single word. Is there somewhere an English version of the lyrics available?

    Really good song!

  • Bloody Brilliant :D gotta love Zulu!

  • This tune is the bomb, The doggyz bollocks, U know just the shiznitt for a foreign song.

  • wow I hate hiphop but this is great! Probably cuz it's in zulu and I can't understand it lol

  • @000snow000 its kwaito not hip hop!

  • @lpoursoi would you care to tell me what the difference is?

  • @000snow000 sure. Kwaito is a South African genre of music that originated in townships and is influenced primarily by Chicago (American) house music and is informed by traditional South African music styles, including call and response patterns, etc. Hip hop is an American genre that originated in the Bronx, New York City that is influenced by funk and R&B grooves and Jamaican sound system culture and has the lyrics spoken in a rhythmic fashion. Kwaito has some hip hop influence...

  • @lpoursoi well said. Still sounds like hip-hop to me... same thing, different name.

  • @000snow000....It is Kwaito,not hip hop.....it is a nice tune thou.

  • I think it's two songs cutting into each other, you need to download a full version of kleva. If you follow the skins music link on their website, they mention and link to a guy called DJ Zhao. If you hit his myspace he has a compilations section. If you download a mix called NGOMA it is on there. ~(------):

  • on his myspace page where can i find his compilations section Tiiischiii?

  • Also, yes, thanks to the best show possibly ever: Skins for spreading the love on something like this. Ha! Internet at its finest, music from Africa, making it on a television show in Europe, being watched by a viewer in the US. Crazy!

  • can any1 tell me where to go to download this song ive been looking for weeks plz klkl =D

  • Comment removed

  • To you and everyone else asking: you know you can simply go to a multitude of sites dedicated to ripping the audio layer off the youtube .flac video file and saving it as an .mp3 for you, right? No downloads required.

  • "hello, my name is Thomas. So glad to meet you"

    haaaaaaaaaaa

    skiiiiinnnssss is da best!

  • This song gets boring halfway through.

    But good old skins hey,

  • agreed

  • I think it's two songs cutting into each other, you need to download a full version of kleva. If you follow the skins music link on their website, they mention and link to a guy called DJ Zhao. • hello my names thomas, so glad to meet you !!!

  • Comment removed

  • here this guy is a south african ghettro machine and he carries all the characteristics to be a true rapper man freestyling in zulu come on what better can u get?

  • this tune is amazing, but where can i download or buy it?

  • yeah but skins isnt supposed to be based on real life

  • the only gd part is the chorus 4 the 1st 30 seconds

the rest is crap but i luv the chorus

  • demonology1 - ever been to africa??

  • skinsss "my name is Thomas" wooo lol

  • this is for demonology1 just to say skins is a comedy/drama of course it has to be funny the ganster is stupid and sop is his henchmen thats the funny thing about it fs chill out

  • Exactly! It's so annoying with people insulting this season for reasons like that! Everyone's doing the whole 'never better than the first one' thing that people do allll the time nowadays!

  • no dude im not like that i just think the charchters are retarded, they dont usually change charachters on a show, so tbh its not like tht, its not the same show tbh, diff chars and plot

  • i just think its a load of shit, u obviously dont know how fake it seems,

some african dude, oh he can freestyle!! thats odd seeing as he milks goats, i doubt they have a big rap culture where he grew up.

  • so you think ppl in Africa milk goats? have u ever been to Soth Africa, the home of this music, or anywhere else, just google it and u'll see ppl dont 'milk goats' or live in huts...

  • hello MORON the guy in skins said he milked the goats, he actually said it oyu fuck tard!!!

  • so you think he nmlked goats all the time? you fuckn stupid bastard, how many languages can u speak? not more than 1, he said he milked the goats in the mornings, if you dont know a culture or u dont hav any shut tha fuck up u spoiled piece of shit

  • ofc not all the time,

i said he milked goats and rap-freestyled amazing.

you said HE DOESNT MILK GOATS

and i said its in the fuking episode u moron. and i was right. so tbh skins is very farfetched,

if u belive skins is realistic ur a retard who has never met a gangster or dealer.

i didnt say he couldnt be talented, i meant how many fuking goat farmers freestyle rap. just one remark and u fucking flipped, come back at me with a real remark or fuck off mate

  • look back at the comments and look wat i said, i never said he doesnt u fool, look for urself and ur ignorance is still showing because u dont feel its possible for him to freestyle, why? tell me why its is fake that he can freestlye so well, and by the way its a tv show, i dont watch ur tv shit, u talk about gangsters and dealers, do you know wat this song means? hav u ever been to soweto? Johannesburg? thought not

  • i said its unlickely that for a village where the ordinary person owns a goat and milks it, is not usually where most rappers come from.

and also i mean skins- the gangsters on skins are so fake it was an example as alot of it is bollocks, gangsters have nothing to do with this song i never said they did asshole

  • once again u talk about sumthin you know nothing about, do you know where akon came from? Makelele? NELSON MANDELA, do you know he was a cattle herder, so how is it unlikely a person (who goes to school) and does not actually own goats, can rap?????

  • what the fuck, IT SAYS IN SKINS THAT HE MILKS THE GOATS.

so yes he does and how many famous rappers own goats one observation i made, all of that mandela shit HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WAT WE WERE TALKING BOUT. fuking ignorant moron

  • he doesn't own goats u dumb bastard READ MY COMMENTS, yes he milked them before school but thats tradition in parts of Africa u stupid ignorant bitch, nelson mandela has everyhting to do with it as u are implying that because sum1 milks goats they cant freestyle, nelson mandela used to herd cattle, look wat he achieved, ur sum ignorant bitch who sits at home and comment on shit u know nothing about, look at ur own page, many ppl think ur a piece of shit

  • WHATS THE DIFFERENCE IF HE OWNS THEM?

even though he probably does instead of milking outhers, so stfu u moron

IM not saying he cant freestyle im saying that its UNLIKELY for him to be able to, because most people there dont listern to hip hop thats a fuking fact u MORON,

youre twisting my words coz u dont have a real argument

  • how do you know ppl dont listen to hip hop? Im african u idiot, this type of music is hip hop u ignorant shit, its just in Zulu, dont talk about stuff you know nothing about, how is it a fact? hip hop is actually very popular in Africa, so shut the fuck up u stupid narrow minded kid

  • ITS A FACT that less people take part in rapping,

dude calm the fuck down im not racist at all, its not that its that skins introduced this charachter that was meant to be too fuing cool its far fethched that he can do rhymes like that then talks about milking goats etc. UNLICKELY im not saying its imposible,

just like everything in skins is unlickely, i have a problem with skins not africans.

  • ppl have jobs to "milk goats" all over the world. it's not a racist remark. the comment above is a bit harsh though :S (demonology1)

  • i understand, its just that sum places in Africa, children milk the goats before they go to school, mainly in the rural areas, this other guy was implying that someone cannot be talented because they 'just milk goats'. Peace, one love

  • Duly noted :)

  • skins!

  • i thought that too, the eminem song that sounds similar is "When the music stops" from the "eminem show" album, if that any help...

  • im sure eminem has used tht melody the one in the background ..cant think of tht tune but

  • i dont care if this is french i cant understand it one bit but i love it i think it was in skins

  • Zulu

  • i still think the first episode was the best of season 3.. but they did have some great music in ep 3. .. including this song!

  • unreal, played on the best episode of skins ever, i love thomas. Hope he stays! x

  • tune n a halff thatt :P

  • cool beat! I heard in the 3rd episode of skins, does anyone knows in what language he is singing?

  • African

  • french sure

  • Zulu, lol there is no such language as African

  • Comment removed

  • omfg! somebody actually asked if the language in this song/video is "African" ?? how fucking stupid do people get!?!

  • @alex1sage I live in ireland and get asked at least once a week if I speak african?! So friggin annoying.. I also told my teacher that Africa is a continent and should not to be referred to as a country! People are so dumb when it comes to africa :O

  • @pepsichick I KNOW! It really frustrates me when people speak of Africa as if it's a country!

  • @pepsichick

Your a black man in Ireland. I'm actually surprised people don't think your a mythical creature.

  • @BellmontXP Lol erm no a white girl :) I dunno where u got a black man from?? Let me guess you are a mongolian tadpole :L
