  • How many hours spent learning his scales and his alternate picking?...HOW MANY HOURS?????

A party with friends, two acoustic guitars. A song of ABBA, he does. He plays songs that sound like junk Beatles. His little friends singing in the back...awful production. I have to spend 20 euros for this record, that's the cool thing...AND IT'S NOT RIGHT FOR ME!!!!!!

  • @Majesty85 Not sure if you're mad or happy, I thumbed you down anyway because you use exceeding amount of question marks. Please try to express your feelings better through text because the things you said had no construction or does not make sense in any way.

  • @bitchslapper12

what I wrote is a translation of a review of this album, made by the best rock critics in Italy: Richard Benson. Paul Gilbert was one of his favorite guitarists (it was not for me, but I respect his talent and skill), but this album, according to him, is crap. After I listened to the entire cd myself, I say that Paul Gilbert makes us spend 20 euros (27 USD) for: two acoustic guitars, his friends clapping their hands and singing and a terrible sound. For me, this album is crap.

  • @bitchslapper12

again: this is my personal comment, I'm not questioning Paul's talent whatsoever. It's just that this album sounds like a home party to me, and I must deny the whole idea of spending 20 euros (27 USD) for an acoustic guitar played in a party. Besides, I do not understand why my first comment wouldn't mean anything to you. I find it perfectly clear.

  • @Majesty85 The great thing about Paul is that he doesn't need exaggerated amounts of production put on a CD to play MUSIC.. I'd like to point out that you said after you heard a comment from a critic you listened to the album, what you should probably do is listen to the album for yourself and not cuz of a critic or judge the music the same way as a critic because of what he said, you basically have no opinion and just think what others say.

  • @JonIsFrench

fair enough. I've listened to the entire album because I was curious to hear it after a negative comment. I found the album crap. Me, personally speaking. My opinion is worth like yours. You love the album? That's fine by me. I don't like this album, so where's the problem? Have u listened to it? Again, I did and that's my opinion.

  • @Majesty85 well from what i read it sounded to me like you just basically listened to the album and disliked it because of what someone said, which to me sounded crazy. But whatever thats just me adding my opinion like you said. Just thought i'd point it out

  • @JonIsFrench

regardless of what I think about this album, I'd like to mention Bryan Adams' Unplugged album. The sound is great. That's what I call "a good production". I don't wanna spend 20 euros (28 USD, in Italy cd's are expensive) for an album with (in my opinion) bad sounds and girls singing in the back. For some people, this may sound amazing, for me it's not. Personal opinions, nothing more.

  • @Majesty85 I think you should listen to the album for the MUSIC not because of someone's opinion, listen to music regardless of the price of production value, if you like Paul Gilbert or his music that should be the least of your worries because you know that everything he plays and CDs he makes have great production. There are millions of albums sold that are like this called "Unplugged" albums from HUGE artists and i would say with same production value, and you're worried about production?

  • @Majesty85 Ahahah Richard Benson...

  • @DreamLizard

I support Richard Phillip Henry John Benson

  • @Majesty85 tranquillo, puoi parlare tranquillamente italiano con me xD

  • @DreamLizard

    ottimo! Finalmente un Bensoniano!

  • @Majesty85 E certo!

The Biglietto Per L'inferno, Dedalus, Trip, Osanna...how many amazing bands we had in Italy!! Now we have only shit...but it's been said, that even crap would be worth something if man had no ass. So...

  • dude c'mon, abba is a GIRL BAND, how could they be fags?

and of course they sing better than paul, but I think paul did this for fun lol

  • he does all his playing for fun :)

  • hahaha

  • Well considering this is live and unprocessed I'd say this would be better if they had the same amount of effort production wise.

  • @AllhailtheOzzMan123 ...lol paul did this for fun!! why the fuck are you comparing him wid abba?? are you retarded ? :D

  • @Rvgrungeman yup :L, but i was just comparing it because im not a major paul gilbert fan :P
