  • PS: I really appreciated "You (the man)" talking and helping guide the detailed process of making the lotion. Cheers. ;)

  • Hey guys, just wanted to say thanks for sharing this info and helping us make our own lotion/salves. I got interested in natural remedies some months ago and found this video. I then brought (and was also given) calendula seeds and flowers, I grew the flowers and eventually grew enough to pick and dry and put in the oil. The oil infusion with calendula comes out tonight and I'm finally going to try your recipe! Thanks!

  • Oh my God, you (the man) are talking so much, really saying nothing....just bla bla, very annoying

  • what emulsifier did you use?

  • very heplful, you both are great .

  • While well meant, this is a recipe for mouldy lotion. At the very least, the liquid should be boiled and added to the hot oil and beeswax. You can also add natural preservative like rosemary extract or grapeseed extract to lengthen life.

  • @greenberyl

Both chickweed and calendula are loaded with antioxidants, so no, this is not a recipe for a moldy lotion. Once you get past the template recipes listed on websites, you might want to get into the benefits of herbs. Rosemary oleresin has nowhere near the benefits of chickweed and calendula.

  • Dude, shut-up & let her explain...

  • very cool thanxs
