Top Gear (TV)- coolest car show ever. Top Gear (known as Top Racer in Japan)- one of the coolest racing game series. It's a bit wrong for me to talk about it, but I played all three Top Gear series games for the SNES on an emulator. This was really where the Top Gear/Racer madness began. And as the kids would say, the all-white call "pwns," mostly because it's the best handling with the best fuel mileage of any of the four cars in the game.

Top Gear 2, Top Gear 3000, and Lotus 3 are worthy successors both in gameplay and music. I believe Barry worked with Pat Phelan for TG2 and/or Lotus 3, but Pat did the music for TG3k with some other guy.

also, Lotus 3 on Genesis (titled Lotus 2 R.E.C.S. had an exclusive song not on the Amiga Lotus 3)

I loved this game. It's one of the few race games that you can consistently go really fast, even through the turns. I had more fun playing this game than the Gran Turismos. In the GT games you have to slow down all the time and the cars cant turn for crap. Thanks for the memories!
