Obama made a minor error on his part when he said that US weren't looked upon as liberators when invading Iraq. If you watch a documentary called No End in Sight, it basically shows you footage of Iraqi people simply allowing US military forces to waltz in. The general populace looked to US as liberators but then soon found US had no future plan to transfer power back to them so then commenced urban warfare through Baghdad

WHat do I need to read up on to see Obama's poll numbers? I watched them almost the entire time. It was 49% to 49% for most of the election. Then they hit the liberal states and it started to take off at the end. And he still only won on popular vote for the country by 3%. But the election isn't won by popular vote in the country. It's by state.
You're wrong. He won the final popular vote by almost 7%. If you remove California, Oregon, and Washington (you know, the "liberal states"), he still wins the popular vote 52%-47% and holds a 5,000,000 (that's million) vote lead. Did you even bother to check your numbers?
If you remove Cali, Oregon, and Washington then he lost 73 electoral votes which would put him at 291 and McCain at 209. So those losses woulda been huge to him, because those + a few other losses woulda changed the outcome. There were a few states like Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida that were very close and woulda put McCain over Obama.

Obama made a minor error on his part when he said that US weren't looked upon as liberators when invading Iraq. If you watch a documentary called No End in Sight, it basically shows you footage of Iraqi people simply allowing US military forces to waltz in. The general populace looked to US as liberators but then soon found US had no future plan to transfer power back to them so then commenced urban warfare through Baghdad
