  • ok....SO?!?!?!?

  • thats pretty cool. fooled me.

  • not good performance

  • cool. rolls up hill but actually ends up lower.

  • oh i see...gravity pulls down on the moving object the incline plane part is pushed against the rods which pulls it... had to watch it a few times to see what was going on i do not think it is going up a slop however. all that it is a efficiency device use full hmm no but gives a good example of good physics :P

  • gravity forces the wheel up because of the widening rails with a taper on the wheel a ball will do the same

  • This is not incredible at all. The object is still moving downward.

  • Incredible poor

  • Demonic!

  • reminds me of an old game: a metal ball and 2 rods you could move together and apart: the object was to make the ball go uphill as far as you could!

  • where is strange factor??it's stupid physics....

  • NOW I'M MAD.

  • oh my god. no.

  • just screwed 18 seconds of my life o.O

  • noob

  • no es increible, yo me lo creo, porq una ves lo vi en verdad jeje

  • ohhh, i get it. what happened was chuck norris told it to move and it did. but i would too, so it's not that incredible.

  • AFF ¬¬'

  • could u at least explain it, we mortals (all the people in the world except u) cannot understand it T.T

  • that's same amazing when i walk up a low hill.

  • just simple physics

  • I don't get it. This is so amazing... why?

I know... It goes upwards... Doesn't it?

    No! It actually goes downwards.

Increasing the 'gap' between the two bars, makes room for the center of the rolling object, which is lower and heavier than the two sides, to roll down in between the two bars.

If the rolling thing was a plain rod, it wouldn't work, if it was lighter, it wouldn't work.

And... Since the THING does not retract itself to it's startingpoint, this is not a source of free energy.

  • @Fick79 It is free but soon we will pay taxes for gravity ;)

  • cute!

  • What is incredible?

  • thats so pathetic. the reason it does that is gravity on the cone thing. since both sided are on a slant it is like its going down a hill eve though what is slanted is the object not the thing its rolling on. since the metal bars open then the object goes down and keeps getting pulled by gravity. if you got fooled by this then your a friggin idiot. -.-

  • If you look at it from the side on, the cone actually sinks lower

    it doesn't actually roll 'up'

it sinks down but the direction it is going only appears higher.

  • Is it portuguese, italian or what?

    Parece ambos.

  • És el Català :)

  • Oh, after i watched this 2 times i relized that it was rolling up hill with just a delicate push...

    that is cool

  • My life has been changed forever...

  • OMFG AMAZING HOW THE FUK DID U DO THAT...*sarcasm*

  • WTF... i never saw such fantasitic thing WOOW ...-.- lol

  • WOW!!

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!! (see next comment)

  • Its momentum, simple physics.

  • I see no illusion here.....I'm baffled at why anyone would see anything spectacular *shrugs*. Here, let me act more amazed *ahem* OMFG, HOW THE HECK ARE YOU DOING THAT? There has to be some sort of motor inside cuz that there thing-a-ma-jigger there is defying all laws of this here done diggity dawg world. *just gave myself a headache*

  • are you joking? you do know how it works right? its simple if you look at it close enough.... there is no motor, its gravity, the way the strings are in a V shape and how the thingy is too... what happeneds is the thingy has more dept than the V and it makes it go up, but gravity is pulling it up... which is very cool

  • yertalert: yes, I was joking, did you not read the fucking statement that said "let me ACT more enthused"? Did you not feel the sarcasm dripping off of my comment? I do know how this works, and it amazes me that anyone with more than 20 IQ would see this as "amazing". Next time you may want to actually READ before you redicule, or you end up looking like a failboat.

  • I was pretty sure you where! I was just stating that and because youtube is being junk I knew that others would see it too.... it was not mainly directed at you... I did read, unlike most people these days on youtube :D

  • lol alrighty then

  • this video is balls.

  • Comment removed

  • what was that

  • The mass of the roller is actually going down as per gravity, but it does look like it rolls uphill.

  • What is your problem? Comments like yours are spoiling youtube, but id guess that you dont care.

Keep your ridiculous comments to yourself

  • its cause the edges are curved moore then the hill is so it goes up

  • the object isn't going down. It's going up. It just has a really bad camera angle.

  • I dont see the incredible thing ?

  • i guess it's the point..

  • that s easy to see wat you did

  • easy

  • damn it just goes down. what's so incredible about it? never heard about gravity?

  • i cant belive this has 50 000 veiws

  • only magnets thats not amazing ?

  • aaaaaand...what?

  • easy easy, just see the shapes the object goes down, nothing amazing

  • If you trace the path of the angled cones intersecting the wires and compare that to the center of gravity of the roller, it is actually rolling *downhill*. It needed a push because the gentleman placing it on the wires did not have it centered perfectly.

  • Ahhh one of Isaac Newton invention's nice. i know this because im doing a research paper on him. Saw this in a book i was reading.

  • The incredible part is that it -didn't- go on it's own. It didn't follow physics!

  • THERE IS A GOD! incredible!! must be spirits or something!

  • dumn fucks

  • dude. really? people cant see how this works

? really? we dont remember inclined planes and levers and such? the rolling part is the inclined plane. gravity is the force acting to push it up the ramp. it wont roll down the ramp, because there is too much friction because of the shape of the rolling part, on the down hill side of the track, because of the shape of the tracks. its amazing how you can understand better by seeing than reading sometimes, huh?

  • Or not. I saw the same thing done with magnets.

  • so gay you dumbass are dumb ass hell go to school dumbass

  • its actually the shape of the object, the center of the object bulks giving it a high potential energy, now we know that objects with higher potential energy are unstable and wishes to be stable, because of that the object rolls to lower its potential energy thus making it more stable

  • what the hell just happened?!?!

  • hmm, it's actually going downhill, if you see the part of the axis that's actually touching the sides as being flat,(so not pinched at the ends)

  • what so incredible?

  • Not incredible..... very simple to do it..

  • I dont know but i think it's the fact it's going uphill O.o

  • Theres nothin' strange here. Just physics :)

  • coooooooooool

  • arranging a large circular track of these would be out if it to see working.

  • i see they meant to put gay instead of incredible as the title, easy mistake i understand

  • its not so much doing up, but pushing down... (if you know what i mean) just basic stuff really, still cool though! =D

  • xboy34 is 100% correct... look at the center of the ball... it always stays the same height the space between the strings makes up for the shape of the ball so its really just like rolling a basketball on a flat surface

  • i couldn't understand anything they said :D but the video was cool i guess.

  • I was surprised first time. Now I know how it works :S

The question is in its gravity center ;)

  • we have the same point lol its just that u kinda explained it better...haha

  • And maybe xboy34 has a point too.

  • Ah, that makes sense. When the gravity pushes the funnel-thing, it can't go back because the forces are pushing out and gravity is pushing down, allowing the object to only move to the wider end. Oh, and, merkinjimapleaddict? If you didn't like it, why did you give it a +2?

  • i dont think its a big deal, cuz even though its moving up a slope it also moving apart on the side, meaning its not changin level at all. As it goes across the level is the same and the only reason it is moving at all is because the guy/lady pushe it.

  • your right

  • Anyone notice the metal strip? Maybe there is an electrical repulsion that moves the funnel? Otherwise, you got me

  • When you have 2 metal poles on a V axis (not parralel) any ball/object that rolls thats symetrical will roll from the close end to the wide end because gravity is pulling it down.

  • it isnt incredible, it is gravity

  • it was going up a slope -_-

  • It goes up the ramp...the shape of the wheel thingy...makes it force outwards which makes it go UP the ramp...i understand =) very smart =)

  • So... if we had infinitely tapering axles, and spreading rails, we could make free energy

  • No, because you have to close the metal polls with energy.

  • i dun even no wat is sooooo incredible about this shit!!!

  • I don't get it. There is nothing wow about that. It does not defy science it makes perfect sense. oh well.

  • its kinda cool cause it defies science.. but not sure how so lame vid...

  • woaw it looks like it's gping uphill!but not that cool it's not that incredible.

  • youre perfectly right, slowadam

  • this is NOT incredible.

& why did it come up when i searched "defying gravity?"

    =///

  • The strings are inclined, but at the same time the distance between them is widening. That, coupled with the profile of the rolling object creates the illusion that the object is rolling uphill, when in reality the center of gravity of the object is going downhill.

  • your wrong the spindel is going down.. The left side is a little higher then the one on the right. Whatch close when it drops into the groves at the end.

  • mmm...

well, this kinf of wheel goes up the ramp!!!

  • What is so incredible about this?
