Is it fair that Jamie Dimon finally agrees to give me back 1/4 of my pension but Sheila Bair last second April 2010 says oh well it's only 22 employees too bad all in the hallway of the court house hush hush as the FDIC wants to keep it out of the media. It is so easy to hang a tiny group by a noose on a tree and whipe your hands and say - see we got all those subprime bad guys LIES
Excellent questions that the owners of the bank deserve to be answered.. Hopefully shareholders won't just be cautionary tales of the total mishandling of this bank. Good luck in the ongoing effort.
That is also my opinion. But who cares in the US? The hearing was closed by a speech of Mr. L that was set days or weeks before with a content that wants to manipulate. It had no reflection to the words spoken in the hearing. It was just off topic to what was found out during 7 hours before. That is how they set minds in the US. I am very ashamed about this senator wasting taxes...
Too bad the big wind bag didn't read it. Maybe we would have got some real answers. Instead he wants to make WAMU the scape goat for government incompetence and JPMCs 'persuasive' efforts at global expansion.
Bad Loans didn't bring WAMU down. Our own government regulators (under the persuasive plan 'PROJECT WEST') took them out. And created the biggest fall in the financial system since the great Depression. But all they can do is try to show that the naked emperor has new clothes. Bad Tailor?
