Atheists don't have leaders who can TELL them what to do or think, nor do we IMPOSE on others. What we do is challenge religion intellectually, to see if holds up, which it never does.

The evolution theory disproves itself. Have we've observed macroevolution in nature or a lab?? NO we have not. Organisms simple cannot add on new genetic information. And the fossil record does not support evolution (too many missing links). Fossils don't even tell you if they had offspring. So saying this fossil evolved into this one is simply a guessing game. We share 98% of 1 % with chimps, yet we share a common ancestor? I can keep going...

Belief is irrational. Philosophy is rational. Therefore atheism cannot be a religion, since it is a rejection of the claims of all religions, on logical grounds.

@BTek4 No, atheism's still not a belief: that's why it's called A-theism (literally: "lack of theism"). Nobody knows what happens when we die, and nobody CAN know that.
Gathering together and supporting one another are not just religious activities, if you've ever seen a political rally. Atheists don't have leaders who can TELL them what to do or think, nor do we IMPOSE on others. What we do is challenge religion intellectually, to see if holds up, which it never does.

Neither atheists nor agnostics KNOW whether or not there is a god, but atheists - unlike agnostics - will tend to SAY what they SUSPECT, which is that there is no god. Agnostics will - generally - not go so far. Other than that, not much difference between the two.

The evolution theory disproves itself. Have we've observed macroevolution in nature or a lab?? NO we have not. Organisms simple cannot add on new genetic information. And the fossil record does not support evolution (too many missing links). Fossils don't even tell you if they had offspring. So saying this fossil evolved into this one is simply a guessing game. We share 98% of 1 % with chimps, yet we share a common ancestor? I can keep going...

@Freedom21stCenturi thats kind of true but its a bit different to tell you not to believe something that to believe something. They are trying to wake you up, to see that in order to believe something you must have direct evidence. I'm sure any atheist would admit the existence of God if God were to demonstrate their power. But lets face it that is never going to happen. Please don't use the existence of life as evidence. The absence of explanation is not proof to the contrary.

Just as they claimed in the past that the Earth was the Center of All, flat and unmoving. Also, perfect heavenly bodies, without blemish, with the stars affixed to the Celestial Sphere. Etc...
