Amazing! This might be your best Wii Music video of the pack. I really love the way you play sax and clarinet against one another. Sounds terrific. Are you still playing Wii Music? The scene really needs more attention and more killer songs.
I don't think I fully understand this game... how do you know what you're supposed to do? Like Guitar Hero and Rock Band have the notes on the screen, but this doesn't so what do you do? ... Anyone care to explain?
You get 50 songs, and you get 6 parts: 2 percussion, bass, chords, harmony, and melody. Each part has a set of instructions that you can pull up whenever you wish, and it's your choice to follow them. I tend to follow the instructions, but I sometimes omit note for emphasis.
That's a shame. When I was in the band, I was the only bassoon player. I really hoped that Nintendo would include it, but I suppose it's not well-known enough to put it in.
Oh oh, do zelda theme, but start out with an ocarina/flute really quietly, then do a build up on a timpany drum and then launch into it with trumpets and all.
It's pretty funny seeing the cowbell at the front. But really, Wii Music is one of the most misunderstood games. But I think Nintendo already knew how it'd be treated worldwide. Kudos to Nintendo and Miyamoto for going with their hearts instead of following the bandwagon.
The cowbell's in the front because I added that part in last, as I do with most percussion parts. Also, the Mii who plays the last part you add in becomes the focus of the band's name.
Agreed! Too bad it's Nintendo's so called "fans" that are often hating on this game so much. This is exactly the kind of music game one should expect from Miyamoto and crew!
I am an awesome musician and I agree that that remix is one of the best on YouTube.

That was pretty cool. Clarinet really fits that song well :)

I agree. I just wish that my intonations in the other areas was as good. This was my first remix, and they've gotten better.
Maybe I'll use that clarinet again sometime.

Are there any bassoon in this game?
Azurekate 3 years ago
No, and no oboe, either. It seems the only instruments with reeds are clarinets and saxophones.

By the way, apologies for the late response.

I'm going to be the only oboe player this year, since I'm starting for the spring concert. I'm still on clarinet for the Christmas concert.
I do rather like the bassoon, though. Double-reeded instruments have a very interesting tone color.
