Plus I'd like it if they ever got to re-dub it that all the characters didn't have weird voices. Like Joey and his Brooklyn accent XD We'll always remember the silly voices and the bad plot in the dub (and of course the abridged series!) but I feel (and I'm sure you do too) that if we re-dub it we tell the story how it was intended to be.

I would love for a re-dub of this. But this time I'd want it to stay more close to the original. I mean we'll always have the original English dub with it's crappy voices and all but I'd like to see what the originals like without all the editing. As for Yu-Gi-Oh that DEFINITELY needs to be re-dubbed. The story was completely destroyed by 4kids. Of course we'll miss Dan Green but maybe Funimation can get him to come back if the fans try hard enough.

Forget it. No offense to Dan, but I blame the casting director for using Dan, since his and the Japanese voice for Yugi and Atem don't match up. I remembering seeing a fandub by Project YGO (Little Kuriboh took part in it), and the one who fandubbed as Atem sounded like Johnny Yong Bosch in a way. Hearing the Japanese voice, I feel that Bosch would be the perfect fit for Yugi and Atem because of Bosch's vocal range. Also, I'd use Sam Reagal to play as Kaiba.

I was a teen when SM originally aired in the US - and I thought it was a terrible show. And that is because the dub was made to appeal to little kids, so it cut out a lot of stuff. Watching the JPN version 10 years later made me fall in love with the show. So I have no nostalgia regarding the original dub - I thought it was bad when I first saw it and I still do, and would welcome a more faithful dub - such as admitting the SS all got killed in the first arc, and Uranus and Neptune are a couple

The voices don't need to be like they are in real life, as it is an animated show. If it were something real-life like the Iron Man movie, I expect them to sound like normal people. Shows like Sailor Moon, Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh never sounded bad, I KNEW they were cartoons.

Yugioh is possibly the most fucked up anime of all time by the dub. the whole shadow realm thing never existed, for example. they changed the plot completely to hide the death theme. in 5d's i believe they went as far as completely skipping episodes that were too violent.

@DarkCrono100 Ikr, I noticed when I watched the Japanese Version, if the shows too violent then whats the point in showing it at all, but watching yu-gi-oh I never once noticed that anything was changed (didnt have a computer then, and didnt get fully into anime yet) so I never suspected a thing. They did a good job in hiding it though and I still enjoyed for the card game and duals that took place, it wasn't until later that I started getting into the story

I say it deserves a redubb to makeup for what it deserves..Sadly its license to be redubb is no longer available so funimation and other companies can NOT redubb anything. Only re-release it if Toei Animation allows it. Sadly Naoko Takeuchi has no say in anything related to the anime only the manga. Which I frown upon she made S.M why not! Shes the original creator of Sailor Moon.
