Hey SKB. I work at Best Buy in Home Theater. If you think your TV has a good picture now, u should look into a calibration. What it does is it completely reprograms your TV's RGB color levels, black levels, color temps, and all ur color settings. Now, this calibration is nothing u can do on ur own or through a disc. We are certified to do this, but what it gives u is MORE detail/BETTER color all around BETTER picture quality. Have a BB HT rep give u a demo next time ur up there. U will love it

store wouldn't fix it, and Samsung said to buy a new one. The repairman wanted

$700 to fix it, so I just through it in the trash. Not a good experience with Samsung.

Plasmas don't fade over time. If you don't take care of them, they might, but just try not to shoot the damn thing, and it'll be fine. We have owned a Hitachi Ultravision (something something 55 inch Plasma) for almost 6 years now, bought back when they cost like $10,000, and it looks better than most TVs produced today. P for plasma baby!

Okay, that was kinda gay, yeah LED's are sexy as shit and have a great picture, but plasma's just all around have a better picture.

Great Review. I have the Samsung 55" LED 7100 series. Mine has the WiFi connectivity for internet. The picture quality is amazing. The thinness of these LED Samsung TV's are unreal. Friends and family who come over and see this 55" LED are blown away from the front with the picture quality first, then when the side view is seen the thickness of the TV blows them away again even more. It is literally 1" in thickness from the front to the back. Great TV for our Theater room. Highly recommend.

I bought a 46" 8000 Samsung LED in December. Kind of wish I waited for the 2nd model, but I still love it. See some of the lights occasionally depending on whats happening on the screen. IMO it's not that terrible of a thing, usually I only notice it during the credits of movies. Speaking of movies, they look amazing on it. The only actual drawback imo, is the reflection of lights sometimes. Other than that though. It's awesome.
