On the other hand, I consider that the only one who really inherited the musical talent from one of the Beatles was Julian Lennon. please please why is Steven Bayley the x lead singer from the band 'the open' doing in the band what a waste of Genius i have both his albums the silent hours and statues and still listen to most days as they are amazing I'm not putting down James but Steven is an amazing talent and is much better than this and he's on backing vocals to add to further insult, one can only hope that this is a side project.
Please Steven Bayley start making your own music again.

Why don't James McCartney, Julian Lennon, Dhani Harrison and Zak Starkey form a band? They could call it "The New Beatles" or "Millennium Beatles" and even have a reality show in the beginning to promote the band.

The talent is there, no doubt about it. He seems uneasy on stage and it's not surprising because all reports are that he is extremely shy - unlike his extroverted Dad. Regardless, he has lots to offer musically. I really like his voice in particular. To the puny minded people dropping insults based on the superficial, you all know you would just pee your pants and fall all over yourself if he decided to say one word in your general direction. He doesn't always sing in higher register. Go listen to his other songs before you comment, please. And who cares what he looks like? Music is about listening. Why should he be a carbon copy his Dad? On one hand,it would be a great compliment, but James does his own thing, and I think he does it quite well:) Lots of talent there!

It's pitiful how much people give importance to the looks these days, it's sad cause we can see him there putting hard effort on which is most likely one of his life's dreams and the only words you have to him is calling basic/childish stuff like fat and bald (lol are you that frustrated?), instead of keeping such rude comments for yourselves in case you don't have anything better or nicer to say.
I for one quite enjoyed what've heard, even with this quality of record. Wish you the best luck.

@LordSanctus If James was as good looking as his dad he would make it into the music industry right away, sadly as you say people are too superficial and silly to call him names. On the other hand, I consider that the only one who really inherited the musical talent from one of the Beatles was Julian Lennon. He really wrote a handful of wonderful tunes that resemble his father's genius.

@LordSanctus Thank you for defending this young man, aside from his talent let us all respect James for his lack of bad press unlike many other celeb kids, I like this song just listened for the first time, he has a very pleasant singing voice too, when I first looked at James I didn't think heavy set I thought oh he shaved his blond hair.

But, unfortunately, is not outwardly appealing. It is not the father's genes are dominant. Paul, today, hardly looks older than his own son. the song is great and i can see the world giving him a chance off the good will his father produced but he needs to sharpen up his look a bit.....i can see the beatle kids never getting together bc their pressured to do something great and its just not really possible....maybe a one off concert would be good for charity where they do the Get Back rooftop gig...but I don't see em all getting together for a original album...Dhani is the future of the music industry and it would stifle him..
