I have been to England 7 times,and have spent over 6 months there.
The last time I was there, a man in his early 20s upon hearing our American accent, came over to us in a pub and told us "Thank-you for saving us during World War II!!!!"

You could use a history lesson yourself. US joined the war in Dec 1941 (because of Pearl Harbour). Britain had already been at war with US for 2 years before US arrived and during that time successfully defeated the Luftwaffe in the Battle of Britain with no help from America (although the Canadians pitched in). If Hitler was stomping Britain's arse in 1939 (not actually true) the US didn't lift a finger. America only acts when her own interests are threatened. But thanks anyway.

Typical of the new emasculated EU British. A pretty cowardly performance. For the record, John Wayne never said the russians were bad people. He said communism was a bad system. Seeing that communism caused the deaths of over 100 million people last century I would have to agree. No Brit should ever preach morality to an American. hey man, communism is awesome. look at how many people died because of your democracy. just because the people that are running it kill lots of people, doesnt mean that the system is bad. if you know a thing about communism you would know that it is the best system, and that the people who used it for power and personal gain were the ones that gave it the bad name it has today.

Communism has never worked because it is an unworkable system. You cannot eliminate a man's desire to excell, and ask him to adopt a false equality so that lesser men do not feel impotent in his pressence. It is far easier for governments to place restrictions on the gifted, than to elevate the unqualified, and unkilled. Communism seeks to bring human beings down to the lowest common denominator of existance. It must always aply murderous force to preserve this false state of being.
