  • Go raibh maith agat, I would love to have a lesson on how to sing in Irish, I've studied a bit of Irish here in the states, but not enough to feel comfortable with my pronunciation. I also play the Celtic harp and love the old Irish songs.

    Maybe you could pick a single song and teach it on a video, I would love that and I know many other people would as well.

  • thanks for the sugestion! sorry im only replying now, I am in the middle of exams! But as soon as they are done(end of june) I shall start work on a song tutioral in irish! I was thinking of the song 'Bímse Buan ar Buairt Gach leo' or more commonly know as 'Mo Ghille Mear'! U may know it already so let me know and i can find another song!:D

  • I wish you the best of luck on your exams. Thank you for your willingness to help. It is hard here in the states to have Irish lessonsbut the classes never went beyond the beginner stage. I would love to be able to sing in Irish with confidence that I was actually pronouncing the words correctly and not just mumbly faking.

    If you would go through and teach Mo Ghile Mear, I would be eternally grateful.
