  • How many of you came here for George? :)

    I do

  • Just realized that George brought Rocky along for the shoot and let Mike Campbell play it. How cool is that?

  • Can you belive that Tom sang this with a cold?

  • @10995 can you?

  • Rocky is also there...!!!!! awesome....never realized that until now....

  • 1 Person backed down

  • TheKnightWho Say Ninja it is a truly great song but your English is not.Should read "but what IS Ringo doing there"

  • @englishsandy

That...is true xD Sorry about that. Might as well take it away, got my awnser a while ago:P

  • @TheKnightWhoSayNja sorry that was me being a "cow"I am so sorry for saying that I appologise to you.

  • @englishsandy

Nah, don't worry about it ^^ But, we can all make mistakes you know ^^

  • Well, I can't explain Ringo's appearance in this video, I can explain George and Jeff's. This song was from "Full Moon Fever", which was considered to be volume 2 for the Traveling Wilburys. And yes Mike does bear an uncanny resemblance to Brian May.

  • @TheSupertrucker78

Yo, ringo's there because Stan Lynch had recently quit the band, he wanted to rock and petty/campbell were going in a more radio/pop direction. So they called old ringo to see if he was down to join.

  • @madanosretep Stan was in the band until late 19994 and this was made in 1989, Stan wasn't an the album, Phil Jones was.

  • jeff lynne the greatest guitar player ever. elo baby.

  • every time I watch this I see something better than before. These guys were and still are Number 1 super group.Talen abounds from each and every one.WONDERFUL music and great video.

  • The only thing missing in the video was a Paul McCartney cameo

  • lol i think his hairs badass!

  • ill kill ur whole family nigger

  • i`ll stand my ground. and i won`t back down.

  • Classic! How awsome to see Ringo and George (RIP) with Tom Petty.

  • yes i had a grievence that tom petty was copying steve marriotte but on this showing

i will try to like him. and fuck my spelling, im pissed.

  • george harrison and jeff lyne are there too

  • WHAT IS RINGO DOING THERE?

  • you did well to ask because you havent got a fucking clue pal.

  • Ringo is a personal friend of Tom Petty. For a while, he played with Petty and George Harrison in the Traveling Wilburys. Pretty much any song from George, Jeff, Tom, or Roy back in the late eighties was at least HELPED by the other guys in some way. wether it was co-writing or publishing advice.

  • Great song !

Tom, George, Ringo, Jeff and Brian.

    Great musicians.

  • Can't believe it's only been viewed 9 thousand times. What a song!

  • He is such a cool dude....Love him.....Love Ringo and George on there too....AND TP is NO impersonater......Great song!!!

  • only thing better than the the giants kicking the Pats ass was seeing TP........Actually seeing TP was the highlight

  • A couple of notes that need to be mentioned:

    1. Ringo shown playing "The Beatles" days Ludwig pearl drums.

    2. Mike Campbell playing part of the guitar solo using George's "Rocky" psychodelic painted Fender Strat. George painted the guitar in 1967 during the Sgt. Pepper/Magical Mystery Tour time.

  • I was just in a Tom Petty, Traveling Wilburys mood today. I don't know why.

  • definitely one of petty's best

  • say! Is that guitarist Brian May? Sure has a good resemblance there.

  • he is not brian may

he is the guitar player from the heartbreakers, mike campbell

  • SUPER, SUPER !!! A ONE !!!

  • I

    LOVE

    THIS

    SONG!!!

    :-DDD

  • This was when petty was solo on the album full moon fever he and lynne (his producer at the time) were in a band with harrison (traveling wilburys) soo i guess harrison brought Ringo. Lmao confusing yes... awesome DEFFINITLEY!

  • A great performance to see Tom Petty, George Harrison and Ringo and Jeff Lynne together again thanks for the video

  • You know who Ringo is, right?

Btw, thanks for the help with info on this song evryone^^

  • Yes. Ringo.

  • Ringo???????????

  • WONDERFUL!

A perfect combination of the greatest bands of all the times!

    Thanks!

  • Awsome song!

  • This isn't really the Travelling Wilburys, but Tom Petty from his "Full Moon Fever" solo album. That's why Ringo's in it. That's Mike Campbell from the Heartbreakers, George Harrison and Jeff Lynne from ELO. Must be nice getting to perform with half the Beatles.
