@cadillacon24z Hello, did you end up doing an iPad install yet? I used the dock connector to get sound out of the iPad. And it sounds great!

@krazy11011 yes i finished my install. i ended up not even using a head unit at all. what i did was got a high quality 3.5mm to male rca cord and hooked the ipad directly into a 7band precision power eq. the eq's front rear and sub outs go to my 4ch and sub amp. the eq is mounted slightly recessed in the dash and the ipad slides down right over the eq in the middle of the dash so all you see is the ipad. then i used a pac LC1 line level knob mounted on my dash for overall volume control. its ok

@Conspiracy360A Used the brackets from a dash kit for the car and a custom tray with a back, so the ipad actually slips into the dash, that part was the hardest part of this install. Thanks for the kind words
