Questo si che è un signor baritono! L'ho ascoltato diverse volte dal vivo, verso la fine della sua carriera, e mi ha sempre entusiasmato. Voce pastosa e omogenea in tutta la gamma baritonale, uso sapiente del legato, interprete giustamente veemente e drammatico.

Ciao Aldo sarai sempre nei cuori di noi melomani!

Oh yes, I forgot to mention the costume. I realize this is an older video, but notice the "hump" (more like a lumpy sack of potatoes). Considering what a great baritone this is, it's a shame.

Tempo was a little on the slower side. I really liked the baritone (great diction) - never heard of him before. Did not like Tucci in this particular role. Voice seems a bit heavy and the final high note is unfortunately a bit painful.
