  • The engine was the driving force of the industrial revolution, so technology as we know wouldnt exist. We'd still be pushing steam engine tech. How far we could of taken that, is another matter.

    But I love the video, the topic makes you think a bit. Keep it up!

    oh i totally agree. There is no way that we could have this level of technology without having the car. Its just something to think about i guess.

  • The 2nd law of Thermodynamics tells us that the universal tendency of any process is towards a state of more randomness and disorder. Thus, statistically, no matter how *closer* computers get towards perfection than humans, mistakes will be made. And if there was a hypothetical system in which computers drove cars, who is to say anyone would feel *safe* knowing that a nonliving artificial algorithm is all that is separating them from the afterlife?

  • great video... as for a computer system driving, it will be hacked and then we will be screwed.
