i have no problem with kenny G because I dont consider him a 'jazz' musician - the term 'jazz' has begun to cover any music with a sax and/or funky bass line (I was once told that the Red Hot Chillie Peppers were a jazz band?!?!) which we all know as wrong, but as far a pop sax players go, I really like this guy. Pop stuff is Kennys 'thing' which is fair enough - Be Bop was Charlie Parker's 'thing' - also fair enough. Dont judge Kenny G jest because other people say he is a 'jazz player'.
