• U SUCK COCK

    !!!!!! ASSTITFACE

  • This is so amazing!

    This man is magic!

    :D

  • Look at all that plastic-y goodness.

  • hahaa its great

  • The cylindrical bore will only emphasize the odd harmonics unlike brass instruments' conical bores

  • you my friend are a very crazy man :)

  • maybe he should quit chewing coffee beans

  • mmmmmmm

  • lmao a hosaphone....

  • ATTENTO ALLE EMORROIDI

  • do not compare that piece of shit to a french horn

  • Get on with it!

  • looks like a french horn

  • He starts playing at 1:32

  • You have a satanic tattoo on your left wrist. God will punish you for this video (if He has not already)!

  • too much useless speaking

  • you may need a spit/coffee bean on that thing.

  • you're not fooling me. Thats a beer bong!

  • kain ka muna baka gu2m lang yan nananghalian ka na ba?

  • Thats cool!

  • hahahahahahahahahaha

  • looks like a french horn sort of, french horns are awsome so im awsome

any body that plays french horn is awsome

  • haha i play french horn too we are awesome arent we?

  • yes we are awsome !!

  • @VampireChick1231 woo hoo!

  • @VampireChick1231 too bad french horn players are not smart enough to spell "awesome". baritone players unite!

  • you are tone deaf if you thought that sounded at all like the pink panther theme.

  • please tell me how you change the notes

  • I play trumpet and at the moment, I can play like 8 differant notes all using only 1 valve. or 7 using no valves at all.

  • Oh wow, i ran over the limit, so my last post was just the end of my first post, and my first post was never posted... Okay well... On almost all brass instruments you make the actual sound by vibrating your lips (buzzing) this requires a strong emboucher (lip mouscles) Literaly you must strengthen you lips like any other muscle to play higher notes.

  • you tighten you lips so the "rasberry" is higher and tighter

  • Right rythyms, wrong pitches. Go Hosaphones!

  • Wow, A new Carl Bohm of the instruments!!!

Good luck, maybe you could sell your Ringtone XD

  • I tried my own hosaphone too! Check it at the responde video, John. I had a nice day building that crap, hahaha.

    regards.

  • :) nice

  • more like a french horn

  • Just stop XD....Just stop playing XD cant stop laughing......Good try though

  • good!

  • haha it was funny when u first tried to play it. I lmaorofledlololromaorloded

  • I liked it

  • ... :|

  • ... :|

  • Nice attempt

  • wow a hosaphone nd who chews on coffeebeans lmfaoo

  • I like it..."this was filmed before an inanimate object" It sounds pretty good. you just need to learn how to play it!

  • thats funny:D

  • SUCKED

  • wtf

  • Actually he says in the video "its basicly a trumpet" which is completely correct. It is not a french horn...only shaped like one. Trumpets at one point in time had no valves at all. Shape doesnt term the instruments class, its sound, means of being played, and how/what it vibrates classifies it. He is infact playing a trumpet like he said. O.o and he called it a hosaphone i bet jokingly because its a hose....hosa(hose) phone(sound). so hes still right.

  • Actually, the credit for coining the name goes to David Ross (I think). I forgot to post a link to his website in the description, but I'll do that right now.

  • Whoops, that's David A. Roth that coined the name, AFAIK.

  • But the french horn also originated with no valves, and it is played the same way as a trumpet? also he has his hand in the bell to adjust the pitch, which is a french horn tecnique (how ever that is spelled).

  • @akm5176 well it uses a trumpet but he changes the pitch by manipulating hand in the "bell" therefore it is more like playing a classical horn which is an ancestor of the modern valved horn (horn of course referring to french horn)

  • @akm5176 that means its a bugle

  • since you're using your hand in the bell its basically a French horn =]

  • ajajajaj shit!!!

  • best instrument ever.

  • lol

  • I hear the music but I also hear the teacher from "peanuts" lol...hahah!

these home made intruments are cool though!

  • Your a very nice guy and not to bew rude but thats not a hosaphone but your the only guy who has a hosaphone video so gj :)

  • I see that thing as more of what looks like a french horn...

  • I think it would be more effective if you used a bigger funnel, less hose, and wore a glove when you played :)

Trust me-You should try it out!

  • Simple, effective, and fun. Plus, you're pretty funny. Woohoo!

  • Wow, thanks for the woohoo!

You know, I think Homer Simpson made that expression popular. Woohoo and D'oh! Cool. Thank you, come again.

  • haha seconded

  • Hey if I ever forget my trumpet maybe I can make one of those! Haha

  • did you use a french horn mouthpiece for that?

  • No, it's a 7C trumpet mouthpiece, clear acrylic made by Kelly

  • oh, gotcha

  • I do try to tune-in some notes outside the natural harmonic scale the way a French horn player does with the fist in the bell, so i can see where that question came from.

  • Its HILARIOUS when you make the bass and drum lines lol :P

    Good work BTW.

  • Thanks!

  • You must breath! hehehe

Good work, man. I love handmade instruments!

  • Breathe? Ah that explains the dizziness :)

Thanks, handmade instruments can be either like a box of chocolates, or a cheap hooker. Either way, you never know what you're going to get.

  • FHTuba,

Right side up, or upside down? Do you mean from the clothes hanger rod like a bat? I'm not sure it would support her weight, and it's kinda too low to hang from a noose, more like stand there with the slack noose around her neck. If she hangs like a bat, does she eat mosquitoes? I really hate them things and a mosquito eating bat girl would be handy to have around.

  • PLEASE DONT READ THIS!!! today i saw some retard who actually believes in passing on stupid-ass chain letters like this one! the only way to stop this is to completely ignore it and dont ever again believe in chain letters!

  • LOL! Good answer!

  • ???

  • If you have the notes for it can you sen me a massage of what they are?

  • I'm sorry, but I don't read music much, just played by ear. I did Google it and added a link to the description for you for piano, so if your instrument isn't tuned in C then you'll have to transpose. You can get the sheet music online for under $5 at a couple of sites I saw.

  • wow!! Excelente, Impresionante.

  • Try taking a couple of coils out of the strap and swing the cone around as you play.

  • Yea, the doppler effect. I find it raunches up the sound a bit.

  • DUDE!!! youre playing yourself short! I thought that this was awesome!

  • tight!

  • haha my little sister wanted a trumpet but she's four so I made her one of these and spray painted it silver.

it's in E and it plays the major arpeggio

  • lol, very nice

  • lol....interesting instrument...I was thinking Bugal th ole time....lol...

  • Yea, it's a kind of natural trumpet as is the bugle, so bugle calls are the esiest range of notes, but you can bend notes to get at least some of the in-betweeners.

  • Hahaha, I play trumpet and really want to make one of these now. This brings me great joy.

  • Roughly 8 feet of hose should get you a "C" tuning. You might be best off to make it longer and cut a bit at a time after testing until you get the right length. That is outlined in the Hosaphone(tm) FAQ.

  • Thanks, I'll give it a look.

  • hey thats great ! but it reminds me of elephants...

  • Yea, there is a sort of raunchy 'trumpetting elephant with a head cold' quality to it for sure :) It's just my playing and maybe the all plastic construction. David Roth can make his sound like a full metal trumpet. google the hoseaphone(tm) FAQ and you should be able to find the link for 'codetta in c' to hear one played well, by an actual musician.

  • nooooooooooo!

  • cool, but your hitting the notes in the wrong order to the original. The original " Henry Mancini - The Pink Panther Theme.mp3"

  • I consider it a miracle if I actually hit some of the right notes at all... :) I'll have to look that up, thanks!

  • funny

  • youve turned pink lol

  • no pun intened? No, pun intended, I think. Thanks, good one that I hadn't even thought of.

  • Thanks for the giant smiles..... Very cool!

  • This was funny. Lmao.

  • Nice video. to get it to go down, try Viagara-Falls (Thatcherite), the only Viagara antidote

    GANDM dot INFO

  • awesome!!!!

  • XD That sounds so funny! Don't worry, I can't buzz to save my life... But I have played the percussion part! ^^

  • Wow, If I close my eyes I can see the pink panther walking around, looking typically classy!

  • Lol how to make your 5 dollar instrument :D

  • If you already have a mouthpiece, it's around that much, but I think I paid about $20 for the Kelly clear plastic mouthpiece.

  • sounds sorta like a dying elephant

  • We don't get many dying elephants around these parts, but yes, it's pretty bad. I have heard these played well, and they can sound like a real trumpet in a trumpet player's hands.

  • BECAREFUL ya head may explode :-D Great one love when peps trys :-D

  • totally badass
