She is married to renowned Canadian jazz guitarist Oliver Gannon and they reside in British Columbia, where they have a 4 piece group and perform as The Oliver Gannon/Patty Hervey Quartet. She has since focused her career on jazz, singing and playing bass in Vancouver's best jazz venues, proving to be a vocalist & musician capable of any genre and creating a lifetime of great music! wiki
The "girl singers" of the era probably had more substance--and more talent than their male "teen idol" counterparts. Pat was one of the best. In my book, a better and truer voice than Brenda, Connie, or Leslie, whose recordings of that era were overly augmented, embellished and top-heavy in production.
Perfectly wonderful early 60s bubblegum, Canadian style! Warm and catchy piece of long ago, with a fab beat.

Another great Canadian singer whose potential was never reached. Her manager once said the Beatles wouldn't last. Alas!

Do you have "Walkin' in Bonnie's Footsteps"?

Great song, pure bouncing pop - the sort of thing Bobby Curtola would sing. Thanks.
