That's a proffessional secret :) just kidding. I printed a still frame of every shot after I finished the StopMotion process, Drew the shadow animation by hand (on papers, yes, it was three years ago :), than I scanned the animation, edited it, put it and the stopmotion footage in After Effects, and combined them using Multiply and Gaussian Blur. That's it.

Why does genuinely great work like this lie in the shadows of youtube while the videos in the light of the public are 99% crap? I have no idea.
Anyway great video. Very clear that a lot of work went into it. Well done. and i commend your patience ;)
