  • I could watch this stuff forever, I agree nothing on TV excites me these days.

  • i miss Elizabeth!!

  • yeah, right, like she needs that (though I know quite a few that it could help). The girl that used to be my neighbor used to look like her when she was little. She was somewhat of a miniature version of her.

  • Elizabeth Montgomery was a very pretty lady. I don't remember Lux that must have been taken off the market. I guess they just sell Dove now. I miss Elizabeth Montgomery, I loved her acting, she was so honest, and on Bewitched A is for Aardvark, that was real.

  • @Sheri451 well Sheri, it is still around and I found it on Amazon's site.I know that my mother used to use that, and I have not seen that in the house for the past 35 years. But it's still available

  • True very true Damaris1972. Actors and Actresses today are full themselves and keep to much of their personal business and lives public.

  • She was so elegant and beautiful... a real class act. The "actresses" of today can't hold a candle to Liz.

  • I remember Lux soap. It has a picture of Elizabeth Montgomery on it. Very popular soap in 1975 in Mexico

  • you're a nasty pig!

  • somebody say "Buh"

    Git it git it git

  • "completion", huh? How about COMPLEXION? (BTW..she died in 1995 from colon cancer. Rock on, Liz!)

  • The first word of a sentence is capitalized. What's your point? I admit it. I mistyped a word,

    Congrats to the spelling police!

When you can tell me something about Elizabeth Victoria Montgomery, I'll let you know.

    R.I.P. Elizabeth!

  • yes rock on Liz...forever and ever...

but lets don't be ass-clowns like her Uncle Arthur could be to Derwood at times! lol

love and faith bewitching friends, don't you agree Elizabeth Montgomery and her almost as famous dad Robert would be proud of us if we were kind towards one another?

    peace!!!!

    Pandora Spocks

  • This gay man had a crush on Elizabeth.

  • its very simple Ms.Montgomery had what was called by AArron Spelling as he told Kate Jackson ,it was that special star dust in the eye that he knew were great actors, she had it stardust and today we have so many who cant act and were all being thrown this awful looking realistic shows from the huge fat loose weight competition shows to the babysitting shows , how absurd , where is our entertainment man all gone and as for realistic shows yuck

  • @viclagoon I don't think most realize how true those words are. In the past 30+ years, I have seen tv shows go from where I was actually looking forward to watching tv to hardly not giving a hoot as to what is on it anymore. That is how disappointing TV has got. If one is lucky, they may be able to find something on cable. Even that is getting questionable these days.

  • I could use something for my complection

  • this is magic!

  • That was Great!

  • Lux is still marketed by Unilever outside the United States, 'Ahksel'- but stateside, it's as dormant as "THE LUX RADIO THEATER" (1934-'55)...since Lux and Dove are from the same company, 'bongo', the Canadian "edition" stressed 'moisturizing lotion' in its ad copy, while the American Dove bar stressed "1/4 cleansing cream"...

  • Never heard of LUX, did it go out of buiness?

  • Lux originated a long time ago, back in the 20's. It was manufactured by Lever Brothers. It shared the spotlight with Ivory, Palmolive and Camay. Back in the 50's and 60's, it's main competition from Procter and Gamble was Camay. As more "advanced" soaps came along, Lux fell to the wayside. There are ads for it on ebay.

  • Abner! Abner!! She is a witch!! I told you their is something crazy, something kookoo going on over their!! So help me I will never set foot over their again!! Galdys for goodness sake will you take your nerve tonic!!!Abner call me crazy!! Call me kookoo!!

  • 60s ads are so different to ads today.

    Man she is beautiful.

  • she was great in Mrs. Sundance!

  • I wish I was the soap.

  • She has gotta be the coolest TV mum of all time and the sexiest for sure!

  • We still love you Liz.

  • I remember the commercials! And Elizabeth Montgomery didn't need LUX! (Just makeup and her own acting skill!)

Well, maybe that was magic, too!

  • She WAS sheer magic!

  • Lux will take the hide right off you now.

I don't think Liz could have used it.

Unless the formula was different then.

  • Wonder if Lux in Canada was similar to Dove in the U.S.? Liz was mentioning moisturizing lotion in the commercial, and Dove ads--until recently--kept harping on how "Dove is 1/4 moisturizing lotion."

  • They still sell Lux soap in Canada because I sometimes buy it when it's on sale.

  • Perfect. Even Gladys Kravits probably ran out for some Lux.

  • Oh my stars! Wonder how Lux sales would have picked up had that commercial run in the States!

  • Thanks for the commercial.

  • Beautiful Liz.

  • Liz wouldn't have endorsed Lux soap in Canada if she really didn't believe in the product and use it, 'LordSolaris'. She had integrity, and there were some things she would NOT do for money.

  • Sellout!

  • Terrible writing back then for products poorly named; and the director told her to place the bar of soap next to your cheek when you finish that line..... lol. Very fun to see this- I only remember the shows, not the commercials. ;-)

  • I couldn't help but notice that the shape of the bottle of moisturizer is reminiscent of Jeannie's bottle on "I Dream of Jeannie" Two great shows, in a time when writers had to write comedy dependent on something other that bodily functions!

  • Simply beautiful. RIP, Elizabeth/Sam (sniff sniff).

  • Dave Devall the weather man from CFTO???

  • Great stuff - and Elizabeth Montgomery was the best!

  • i like this commercial.she was so hot.

  • She was, without a doubt, the perfect person to play Samantha. Fit the roll to a T. However, if that commercial were made in the States, wouldn't she be plugging Dove? Both Lux and Dove were made by Lever Brothers at that time.

  • Man, I sure miss sweet Liz! What a babe of the ages...thankfully immortally captured via film, video and DVD!

  • No, it's not dave devol's voice, but another voice over guy I remember hearing all the time in Toronto when I was a kid. If you remember the "Rocket Robinhood" Cartoons from the early '60's (which were Canadian), this is the same voice-over voice.

  • I am American I love cartoons from other countries perhaps i"ll give that one a try.

  • I suspect this is a Canadian commercial. the announcer sounds like Dave DeVol, a somewhat famous voice in Canadian TV. (Oh, yes: Elizabeth Montgomery didn't need beauty soap. She was naturally beautiful!

  • How cool is this? I'm going to rush right out tomorrow and buy some of this, my facial skin is horribly dry. Thanks Samantha!

  • Just one word:

    Beautiful..

Liz perfect, I be so sad to think she's gone...But for me, Lizzie is immortality in my heart and in the all fans.

  • Its hard to believe she is gone.

  • Obviously, this was a separate deal from the one Liz had with her U.S. sponsors- Chevrolet and Quaker Oats {1964-'69}, who sponsored "BEWITCHED" on alternate Thursdays over ABC. She was required to "plug" their products (in a 30 second spot) at the end of every episode. Lever Brothers of Canada must have convinced her to endorse "Lux" for a VERY impressive fee [Liz's business deals were as close to an annuity as one could get!].

  • oh Elizabeth, youre so wanted!

  • This is cool. Thanks for sharing!
