@TOmOeItOh Well, no, but not that many are familiar with the cyrillic alphabet and furthermore, some older computers can't even display cyrillic letters. Romanising Russian words into the Latin alphabet makes it a lot more accessible, even if you *do* happen to speak other languages than your native language.

But, you know, you don't need to speak/understand the Russian language to read cyrillic/be familiar with the cyrillic alphabet. Just putting that out there.
