@BubbaThing All the previous ones had free play modes. You could configure so many little details (that I do not remember) like resource scarcity, enemy difficulty, land variety, etc... In Anno 1404 Venice, you could free play with friends online as well.

@BubbaThing All the previous ones had free play modes. You could configure so many little details (that I do not remember) like resource scarcity, enemy difficulty, land variety, etc... In Anno 1404 Venice, you could free play with friends online as well.

@wyo550 I noticed how you failed to give an answer for either of my questions. Specifically about copying any other sort of media. If you own a single VHS tape with a recorded movie on it, you've committed piracy. If you have a single mix tape/CD, you have committed piracy.
Who exactly is something stolen from when a copy is made? How do you calculate lost profit of something that would have never been purchased? The cost for a copy to be made is $0 to the publisher.

If the person copies it and makes another copy that's another 50$ or whatever it cost that someone who wants the game won't pay because they can get it cheaper from pirates or the money goes to someone else who probably doesn't own a license(also pirates) to sell their products which a lead on to fraud or copywrite meaning someone else is getting money using your product and then their thousands of people doing it makes the profit go down by a lot over time

@TheSlice9999 I'm actually addressing two different things. First, if anyone yells about copy write infringement and yet has ever, at any point, copied a song or movie, they are a hypocrite. I don't know anyone that hasn't done so. You get a mix CD from a friend and you don't really think about it. But there is no difference. @wyo550, I find it amusing that, while I'm really one of the few making rational points, they simply refuse to address my points while shouting vulgarity at others.

What i'm saying is the people who take the movie and copy it a couple thousand times and sell (depending on how new it is) it for maybe 10$ when its worth 50$ that person who bought it probably would have gone and bought it anyway but sometimes they don't like u said. Copy write infringement IS NOT THEFT. It is a loss of potential profit. If I come to your house and make a copy of your CD and leave, have you lost anything what so ever? Has the publisher lost anything? No. There is nothing that guarantees I would have actually paid for it.

I prefer Cities XL 2012 to any Simcity but I suppose it's all down to the tastes of the player.
