I don't usually like these head cam cyclists, but these are the BEST videos about cycling in London on youtube. No bitching, or double standards, just good advice and commentary. Keep up the good work.
I can't stand the lack of road sense of most of the cyclists as everyday I come across cyclists that don't care who is in their path or the high way code traffic rules. Sorry I will hate them but I will give you a +1 as you seem to have a good point but this won't change their bad habits as cars are also crap. The battle of the roads is just to survive!

It's people like them that give Andrea Leadsom's nonsensical campaign a microscopic shred of credibility. I'm sure it's behaviour like this that make the public think that cyclists who are killed on the road were probably behaving like this.
Another great compilation Gaz - some frighteningly selfish attitudes being shown by some cyclists (RLJs really make my blood boil - we expect everyone else to follow the rules - cars to only move on green, pedestrians to only cross with the green man, yet these selfish idiots give all cyclists a bad name by disregarding the rules. Also some disturbing examples of cyclists with a complete disregard for their own safety - number 10 for example - why is he wearing a helmet doing moves like that
#5 weeving? Could it be because he judged wrongly about the left turning car? he could first have tried to keep in the left lane, and then decide that it was too dangerous and then try to go right around the car.
I live in the country and I hate most cyclists in big groups, as they are hard to overtake on windy roads, but fair enough there not breaking and rules... BUT there are some who ride in 2'-3's parallel... if they ride on those kind of roads, it should be single file to allow over taking in my opinion
@heald111111111111111 - Alternatively, by riding 2 or 3 abreast they effectively present the same width as a car, so anyone wanting to overtake must wait for a clear stretch of straight road where an overtake would be safe. Cycling single presents 2 risks - a) it necessitates a longer and potentially more dangerous overtake b) it creates the danger of cars trying to overtake where they wouldn't consider overtaking another vehicle - corners, narrow sections of road.
@heald111111111111111 A good motorist would overtake in the next lane anyway, so riding two abreast is no problem then. If anything, it makes the snake of cyclists shorter and thus easier to overtake than a long line of cyclists one behind the other.

@antuk1234 Yep - As a cyclist I get no respect where I live because nearly everyone else around here cycles like an idiot. If the UK government can't be bothered to set up a decent cycling infrastructure, they should at least make it mandatory for people to take and pass a FREE test before being allowed to cycle on the roads. Or if not that drastic, at least make an effort to educate people. Only then would it be fair to blame motorists for cycling collisions.
Can soemone give no 1 directions to the mortury? There are easier ways to get there than the inevitable crash (he may be very skilled on a bike, but there's a lot of other people out there and it usually takes two to have a crash). Glad you weren't following me today, managed to follow a bus into a bus station at one point! Probably safer than the multi lane gyratory though! First time in that part of London, could've been worse!

@NottinghamCyclist That was my thinking, as they are quite close they may have seen the driver check mirrors (wishful thinking) or put the indicator on. I know I've picked this up when following a car like that before. The small flick left before swinging hard is counter-steering I reckon, a technique that can help with quick cornering.
