  • Nice video! God Bless, and wish you guys luck on rebuilding Christchurch after the Earthquake and subsequent tornado. Cheers from the mountains of the state of Nevada. I live at 2200m above sea level and wheel a '96 Jeep XJ just about every day.

  • @kc8ntp Cheers mate, vehicles like this make it easier to get around after earthquakes!! ha ha.

  • @maliceinwonderland6 Pretty sure there isn't any horse tracks in there, get your facts straight before having a go about things you obviously have no idea about. You on of the people that ruin everything for 4x4 fans.

  • and you people are the sort that ruin it for horse ridders, my hate for this is becuase ya nearly fucking killed me, you pricks have no respect for anyone let alone people on horses

  • Learn to ride a horse properly and you wont need a fuckin trail.

  • @maliceinwonderland6

wooo, chill folks. 4wd is fun, when done responsibly. Don't tar us all with the same brush. Horses are magnificent animals, and horsey chicks are mostly cute, so you have my support too. It's a big country, lets all find our own space, and get on like mates. After all, once we sit around the fire with a cold one, we are all there for the same reason. To enjoy life.

    Keep smiling people

  • hey thanx mate you make a bloody good point, thanx for coming and saying that. i have met many 4wd dudes that have slowed down when coming across us on horse back and given a friendly wave. so with that i say end this war. cheerz dude,

  • excellent video congrats, i am planning on swapping a 2.8 3l diesel engine to my 22r truck that has 35 tires with 4,78 gears, do you think that the 2.8 will pull my 35 tires like the 22r does? or ill be needing some 5.29 gears?

    best regards

  • Hey man ... Got no idea we all run stock drivelines apart from LSDs and Lockers but ratios are out the factory. Everything seems to work all good apart from 4x4 high isn't that flash so just use rwd or 4x4 low ratio. Big tires just make it slow as for on road. Not much of a help but best way to find out is to just try it!!

Check out some of my other videos ... Cheers.

  • lol me and my dad got stuck in that same spot in his hylux the bit where u needed the land cruser

  • where was this taken at?

  • As in title mate ... Waimak river in CHCH NZ

  • thats my dads old hilux, looks sick azz now with the 35s!

  • what year is that hilux

and whih is best off road?

  • Look under the more info bit on right hand side, got it all in there.

Depends on what you want out of your truck and how heavy duty you want it ae

  • thanks

  • Things like Cruisers and Safaris are built stronger so if ya can be a bit rough on them I'd get something bit heavier

  • depends i have owned both an 80 model petrol hilux rear diff locked and 31s, and a swb turbo diesel patrol with 35s, 3inch suspension, lsd rear, and i reckon they are on par for breakages, but the hilux was more fun simply because i didnt care about it, i havent really been 4wdin as hard as i used to in my hilux... watch my videos on my channel and you'll see how much fun u can have in low budget trucks mate

  • very nice.

  • Check out some of my other videos, most of them are shot at the Waimakariri river, cheers for the comment.
