Since adulthood I've preferred to date people who are older to people who are my age because I feel that there's a maturity gap between myself and people my age, I just found I had more in common with older partners. I'm marred to a guy who's 31 and I'm 20, I'm also an immigrant from American to Canada and my husband is a Canadian citizen so we have some cultural differences as well, but I like being in a relationship with someone who is mature and sure of themselves.
I think that as long as the person's of age...age differences do matter, but the men or the women shouldn't be look down upon due to their age differences in relationships...hope that makes sense...
In all honesty, I'm really, really picky about age. I only date within a 3 year spectrum. 1 year less, 1 year more, or the same age. yes, it restraining, weird, and some what paranoid but it's just the way I am.
