  • ando buscando una caratula Autoestereo DVD Pioneer AVH-P5100DVD Pantalla me podrian pasar un numero de tel o direccion donde puedo conseguir una gracias

  • hey all you have to do is connenct the e brake wire to ground theres no need for a relay just connect it to somthing metal thats the way i have it much easyer i think..

  • @thechickenstrangler The problem is it doesn't always work that way.

  • whered u buy the bypass?

  • @alfarion1 I bought it from a local car parts store, but you can also buy it at any electronics store.

  • LoL @ 2:40 ...but nice vid

  • @nathanwilmott1 Thanks! I hate when I get toung tied.

  • do you hook up those wires to the relay and not the harness. or do you just splice them?

  • @asianjack I basicly cut the wirs from the head unite, installed the rlay then add the the harnes addaptor. That way you can install the headunit in aother vehicle and still have the relay.

In the video I left the wires connected to the vehicl harness just for simplicity.

  • Why do you want to watch TV in your car? Too much money and too much time on your hands. Hey every thought about joining the Army?

  • @2012goingNutz Really... did you see the car I installed it in... don't you think if I had loads of money, I would be driving something better?

oh! and congratulations on being in the top 5 people to troll my videos!

  • and about the relay what was it specific to? I went to autozone and there is from radiator cooling fan one to a fast idle? or does it not matter? :p

  • @FissaTION It's more of an elactrinics relay, as long as it has the right pins... you should be good.

  • hey when you did the ground why did you use two grounds? I cant really visualize it in my head. its just the same ground wire put in two slots? Oo

  • @FissaTION To be honest I'm not sure why it's done this way. That's just the way I leaned it.

  • THANKS FOR THE TIP IT WORKS THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP

  • if you have an amplifier for subs or what not, do you have to run the remote to the relay and the remote wire for the amp?

  • @tykauai Yes, I jut split my remot wire into two, one to the relay and the other to the amp.

  • @jacoblombardo Glade you like the video and it helped you out! The relays are used in many other aplications, that require the other prongs. I am not sure if the 4 prong ones would work.

  • Is Pioneer different from others? On my Kenwoods I've always just grounded the parking wire. The wire on my unit is a 12v ground so when the parking brake is engage it grounds the parking wire allowing the video to play. By simply grounding the e-brake wire coming from the back of the head unit, wouldn't that give you the same effect, or is Pioneer a different design?

  • @carlosg815 Pioneer makes it so you have to engage the ground every time. So, simply just grounding it won't work. The relay acts like a switch the grounds the wire after the unite is on.

  • You are the man. Gotta try this on the MVH i just bought!

  • thanks this helped alot, cant wait to try it on my deck

  • Works great!!! Love the video

  • @bgoins3000 Thanks!

  • whats that thing on your forehead??

  • @DIRTPUNKZ86 ... Nothing ...

  • @DIRTPUNKZ86

    It's a wrinkle..

  • @lilletizz Yes... yes it is. lol.

  • @DIRTPUNKZ86 hair ?

  • nice install dude.. hay can u tell me where u buy the relay?thanks

  • @jose38957 You can get them on eBay for around $5 or Dealextreme for about $2.50, but they are on the cheap side. I went to my local electronics store. Radioshack, The Source, places like that. I ended up paying $15 but the quality was there. Since you spent the money on a video head unite you should spend the money on a quality relay.

  • @What8Really yeah ur right well thanks bro..

  • Will this work with pioneer avh 3300bt?

  • @Varmitslayers I don't see why it wouldn't. The relay acts like a switch, same as if you put your e-brake on, except with out you actually having to do any thing.
