I am personally amazed. I've been watching babies and how they learn but have never seen a baby of 6 months have that well developed a perception of movment and use of his body like that. He's probably older now, but would have suggested teaching him sign language for at that age they have a fair understanding of language-just not the ability to make the right sounds yet. He probably would have told you much if he had a technique to communicate.
@bodybygigi he is almost 3 now. He was quite good at sign language early on, but lost it as he started to talk (in both English & French). Not too much interest in video games any more, but is pretty good at Mario Cart and Guitar Hero (in Beginner mode). He certainly has shown above average coordination. Zooming around on a 'run bike' since 18 months, completing jigsaw puzzles (rated 5+) since 2 and now is obsessed with some pretty intricate Lego creations (the real stuff, not the baby stuff)
My parents have a picture of me holding a NES controller upside down staring quizzically at the television. This is cute, and he knows what's going on!
