@strikerk Have you tried setting the compatibility mode to windows 98? You also might want to try setting the compatibility mode of the installer to windows 98 before installing the game aswell.

From what I've read on some message boards, this should fix the problems under Vista.

@strikerk If you're using the Hi-res MOD, and have crashing problems when a video finishes, try activating the subtitles, since the game uses a different algorithm with subtitles "ON", this seems to fix the problem. Hope this helps.

One thing I could never understand is why Kilrah is still visible in a state of explosion in both the gameplay and cutscenes.lol It was totally gone in WC3.lol

It's an awkward concept to grasp but Kilrah IS destroyed. Only now does the light reach your position when you are in the area. So basically, what you're seeing is Kilrah blowing up, many years after it ACTUALLY blew up.

Keep in mind that light moves at a certain speed - it isn't instantaneous.

I LOVE this game! I had it for my old pc but don't have it for my laptop now, but I'm getting it soon. I remember playing this mission over and over and over and over again, not because I liked it, but because Roulette was my favourite character and I always wanted her in my last mission, so Id restart continuously until she came lol. The worst thing is you have to wait for the backup on this mission, with the rest, you can know who's on your wing at the start of a mission by requesting a status

Definately a must-have game. I have The Kilrathi Saga (plus the downloadable expansions for WC1 and WC2), the old PC-DOS version of WC4, this, and Secret Ops. Still trying to get the video to work properly on my current XP-based system. Except WC4, which works fine lol

I'd like to have a musical score from Prophecy. Loved the music, especially the stuff it played at the start and the end of the final missions.
