no offence to this guy because he is fit but crossfit is starting to piss me off.
over the years works out have been getting easier. i almost never see muscle ups. people use bounce balls on squats they do all this kipping shit making work outs easier. and this guy was cheating range of motion a little to get more reps in. yes crossfit is still hard very intense i just wish people wouldnt do these small things that made stuff easier
awesome technique! I've been doing x fit for the last 11 weeks and it's awesome. I am very close to nailing the muscle ups in a bar. I do it at a regular gym since we don't have yet a xfit box here in my city in mexico. I absolutely love it!
@lechoso72 there is an Xfit box in Mexico called Crossfit Alfa. It used to be in a garage of a house but they have since moved to a facility of their own. Try it, those guys are nice and well trained.
This is an animal of a WOD...anyone that wants to critisize or thinks they can do better, post your own video and ill give you the props this guy gets...what a beast.... nice form...
@wafflecushioned You understand that he is kipping on purpose but you don't see the reason for it? With your logic I could negate many olympic lifts from all athletes training. Reason why I ask is because a lot of people don't understand the difference between slow controlled movements often used by a body builder, and lifts like the clean or jerk used by athletes like the D1 pole vaulter I'm working out with, who did body building very successfully before becoming a full scholarship athlete.
@madmardygan I posted that comment a year ago. Within the last year however I have learned many things about pull ups and what not. In fact, immediately after I posted that comment I realized that he was only kipping because he was doing muscle ups.
@wafflecushioned Ah gotcha, I ask this a lot to better understand why kipping is so heatedly debated. My concern comes from possible injury from kipping for many years (like carpol tunnel from typing) but that has so far proven fruitless. Either way you're one of the nicest people I've chatted with through youtube, cheers
@madmardygan From what I understand, kipping works out different muscle groups than if one were not to kip. I could be mistaken though. But yeah, I have seen some crazy arguments start because a guy on a video will use leg momentum.
hey mate. I'm a PT and I think his squats were good form. putting your hips too far back takes the shearing forces off your knee and puts them on your lower back. these were good
has any of y'all ever tried an exercise called "the turkish get-ups" using the kettlebells? some australian dude taught me that, & it'll definitly be a nice addition to that drill!
your talking about lying down with a kettleball raised overhead and standing up right? We did those on our college football team with dumbbells. Excellent workout.
the ball benith his legs is put there becauce he dont want to harm his knees not because it make this work easyer !!!
the "kipping shit"is a deferent exercise needs to have body coordination and muscular cordination rader to do a dead hang pull up...
and hamstrings abs and gluts working togather....try some of this shit and remember not to do this kind of things
