To this day I still feel it as a GREAT honor to work with my father and the other members of this unit to make this funeral service the best we could for both his family and the rest of this amazing little town! I did not know him myself but my dad says he was the hardest working soldier he ever met! Thank Ryan for all you've done for this country! You will never be forgotten!
Dear Ryan, I have not forgotten, nor will I ever! You were my 1st PGR mission. 270 miles, the last 50 in a blinding rain only to be welcomed by your family and friends as if I were a hero. How appropriate the song "Where Eagles Fly" because those that came to Honor your sacrifice were treated to just that, a solitary eagle on motionless wings soaring effortlessly overhead as your service comenced, how could one ever forget you after that? Still honored to have stood for you. Remembered Forever.
The worse thing that can happen to a parent is to lose a child. I have a son in the US Army and when he is away from home I don't breathe, but I know that he is doing something for this country and making sacrifices for us each day just as Ryan and his family have done. Thank you Ryan. My heartfelt condolences go out to your family. Because of brave men and women such as yourself my other children can live in a country that is free and safer.
i didnt know him or anyone who knew him, im in the 82nd airborne infantry, ive been deployed, and i just want to send my truly heartfelt appreciation for ryans service to his family, and let them know their sorrow is shared by all men and women in uniform. may the world always smile on your family, RIP Brother, sleep well. We wont quit, we wont let your loss be in vain.
This was a very good video. It makes me very sad. I didn't know Ryan but I'm friends with his brother and I know his mom. They are a great family. They didn't deserve this but everything happens for a reason. I think it's great that some of you don't know them and still post about it. Thank you.
first off who ever you are that made this video thank you it brought tears to my eyes secondly i would like to extend my sorrow to jopek family and last but certainly not least thank you ryan for your service "all gave some, some gave all" thanks
Sadly I couldnt be home for the funeral, but after watching this video I feel better, Jopek was an awsome guy and a great friend!! He will never be forgotten!
[Salutes.] You did your country proud. Rest in peace, fallen hero.
