@klb161 Because they are considered too violent, and in reality, "Yes" there is Cartoon violence, but I tell you what! i'd much rather have had my kids growing up watching Looney Tunes rather than the crap that saturday mornings have offered our youth for the past twenty years. Popeye, Tom and Jerry, woody woodpecker!.....come on! now that's good stuff. Genius writing, geared for adults yet adored by children worldwide not only for the whole Cartoon aspect, but for the magic of Mel Blanc.

@klb161 Never once did I feel like clobbering someone after watching Looney Tunes, never made me feel aggressive at all. Kids are more fascinated by the cartoon itself and the voices of Mel Blanc. The well written story lines/ humor pretty much went right over the heads of Children and was meant to entertain adults who got it. The violence kids have watched the past 15-20 years in cartoons! now that's funny! there is no comparing Looney tunes with the crap today kids have to watch.
