Thanks so much @IBeyondBirthdayI. I've been searching for a mask like this for a long period of time! I found that the particular mask I want is a part 4 Nightmare on Elm St. Freddy Krueger silicone mask! I know a man by the name of James Updegraph who makes them but I do not know where I could purchase it! His masks are screen accurate! They look fantastic! The Extra Toasty mask from CFX just doesn't cut it! But yet again, thanks! It means a lot to me:)

Amazing mask! Where did you buy it? And what is the name of the song? Oh and the mask isn't from SPFX because they don't make silicone Freddy Krueger masks! CFX makes Extra Toasty masks but it doesn't resemble Robert England! ( actor who portrayed Freddy Krueger in the "Nightmare on Elm St." movies ) Except for the remake!

@AlreadyXtinct SPFX Freddy masks arn't made anymore but this is clearly a SPFX Freddy mask. There were only a select amount made before they were discontinued due to copy right Reasons.

in this vid ur face looks way way more better and convincing, especially ur eyes. but not a fan ov those gloves. the blades a too curvy from where the weld starts. (tip ov the finger to the middle ov it) alot blades have that which i hate and dont understand y they do that. but there r sum gloves out there that have perfectly shaped blades. still....hell ov a costume u got there ;-) katch ya!

@hrdstylr I think it's because they're modeled after the new nightmare gloves. There are so many different versions of the glove it's crazy. Just like the freddy make-up. Everytime a new shop too it over new make-up, new glove. I think it's frightgloves or knifegloves that has the glove versions listed by movie. it's interesting to look at. I know in one of them they curved them like straight up long fingernails. I think it was dream warriors.

In a couple years, it starts to decay...and gradually becomes a gelatenous mush.

That's what happened to my 150 dollar Freddy mask.

It became a goo victim, such a nightmare.

@stargroove4 I'm a mask maker and fx artist, it depends on the thickness of the latex and paint job sometimes with shelf life, latex can last a good 10 to 15 years before deterioration. I've seen some masks from the 80's that were foam filled for display kept in case still very intact. The way to check quality is to feel the thickness. Thicker = better

Silicone like this mask the shelf life is almost undetermined... keep em well dusted and they'll last a long time. Worth the hefty price tag.

@stargroove4 It's good to hear that. I spend alot of time sculpting, and people don't really realise how much goes into these things, and the fact that these slips masks are techincally amazing. It took a long time for it to get figured out.

My two favorite companies are SPFX and CFX(this looks like their freddy which mostlydead has a good price along with the slip arms/gloves and cool teeth)

Silicone masks are awesome if you're a haunt actor.

@stefanek65 Latex are anywhere from 50 to one hundred off ebay. I bought my latex mask off ebay and it decayed 4 years later...turned into goo. This mask is silicone and will last many, many years and it's quite expensive. You need to google around and find the alternate silicone "burned man" mask, it's not called Freddy but it is but it's called "burned man" or something. Burned Man silicone is about 100-200 Freddy Silicone is 500 and up.

Whoa! I saw this clip when I was in Iraq very wicked. If I didn't know any better I would have thought you were Robert England straight from the movie. I know SPFXmasks doesn't make these anymore so I'm trying to save up for a mask from andreartista who also does excellent Freddy masks. This one you have is a bit dark and on point as far as Freddy masks go. If I were you I would never sell something like that or if you did I'm pretty sure you probably could more than what you paid for it!
