For the record I am Atheist. I do not hate science ... I like several different subjects under the whole science bracket. Following an interest in history and several other things.

Art and Literature are very squishy subject you tend to find a lacking of people there but that may be due to restricted thinking. As for your country failing its not my position to judge that.

Sure, Jews died from diseases (typhus being an extremely common cause) as well as hunger, especially towards the end of the war as the Allies bombed all the road networks; no food to the camps. But the death toll is nowhere close to 1 million, let alone 6. In fact, it was below 100 000 in the camps themselves.

And yes, there were some shootings in villages etc. but these weren't systematic, nor were large in either size or quantity.
