  • my figure skating team skates to this song!!!!!!!! (: ♥♥♥

  • hey how can u get these songs?

  • How does she do that? How does Deborah Kerr just float over the ground? It's like she doesn't walk at all.

  • I <3333 Julie Andrews :]:]:]:]

  • Thanx for posting this, I love julie andrews I always thought she would have been a good Ana.

  • Also-to Chitpol:Anna was born in India to a full Englishman&a mother whose mother was Euroasian, making Anna less than half Asian-not that it matters, just that she did omit that part of her probably frowned upon in those days;she was sent to Boarding school IN ENGLAND at 6 and returned to India at age 15;she married an enlisted man & when her husband died, she sent her daughter to an Eng boarding school and accepted a position as teacher to King Mongkut's royal children at age 28.

  • I guess I will clarify and show my age. In the Broadway original, before movies, Yul Brynner starred w/Gertrude Lawrence&both did their own singing(no dubbing on stage! The 1st movie(Anna and the King of Siam 1946)starred Rex Harrison as king w/Irene Dunn as Anna, not a musical; In 1956 Yul revived his Bdway role in the well known movie The King and I w/Deborah Kerr-he sang for himself&Marnie Nixon for Deborah. This vid clip is of 1956 movie, but done to the 1992 studio soundtrack with Julie & Ben.

  • Anna wa a liar, she was infact half indian, and in fact never been in england.....she was born in india and came to Thailand, and started to BS about this and that

  • Verboten in the Kingdom of Thailand.

Now I do undertand why this film musical is banned in Thailand. It is a clear case of Lese Majestee. The crime of violating majesty, an offense against the dignity of a reigning sovereign or against a state.

  • I have a play written with Debbie in it...

  • Not Julie Andrews. It's Marni Nixon who did a lot of movie dubbing...

  • Excuse me... for your information, this is definately not Julie Andrews singing nor acting. The leading actress' name (in this Movie: The King and I) is Deborah Kerr, who stars opposite the famous Yul Brynner. Pls get your fact right before commenting.

  • This is definitely Julie Andrews singing. She recorded the song in her album. But the actress in the video is definitely Deborah Kerr. Hope this makes things clearer for you.

  • EXCUSE ME - however, you are correct that the movie version is Deborah Kerr and Yul Brynner. However, this version played here is most definetly Julie Andrews singing - no doubt, no question. This music on this clip here is Julie Andrews.

  • This is definately Julie Andrews.

  • she was my great-aunt

i never met her, but my

    grandfather saw her often

  • no kidding?

    that's pretty awesome.

she's kind of my heroine. :]

  • i know

    its kinda cool

but ive never actually seen her in a film

    including the kind and i

    never seen it

    is she even that famous?

  • she was huge in the '50s & '60s.

    really well-know.

  • Yul Bryner may have already passed on but he was hot!

  • In my highschool play, I was in the King and I XD

  • yul & debra could now dance on a bright cloud of music^^

  • You will be missed Deborah.

  • i love u deborah kerr and i always will.

    God bless u. u r our angel.

    R.I.P.:(

  • God bless you, Deborah xx

  • Hey who cares - A brilliant movie. Great clip.

  • Bah! I love Marni Nixon's voice so much better in this movie

  • And a happy 86th birthday today (Sept 30, 2007) to our "Dame", the great Deborah Kerr! XOXO

If anyone is interested you can sign the "Deborah Kerr for Dame" petition at Petitiononline!

  • Is this Yul Brynner's voice?

  • lol i was in this. not in this clip but i was in this play at the civic theatre in darlington wen i was about 5

  • Does anyone have this song????

  • iii hhaaeett tthhaatt ggoonngg ggoonngg iinn tthhee eenndd

  • hahaha I love your comment abouttttt tthhhhee gonnnggggg

  • Marni Nixon sang for Deborah Kerr in this movie. But anyway Deborah Kerr ROCKS!

  • I love it badly

  • this song is so goood i love it very much i will never forget this who sang this song again?

  • I love his "et cetra et cetra" :D

  • i bloody LOVEEE when he takes his arm out.. and walks towards her.. and says "come, we do it again"... ahhhh!(mind orgasmic.. he is really like...untouchable sexy man.lol)

  • yul brynner is so cool

  • that's yul brynner not ben kingsley

  • The truth was, the hoopskirts in Deborah Kerr's dresses were so heavy that the bruised her legs during this song. It still looks wonderful though!

  • Deborah Kerr is the actress and singer here.

  • Deborah Kerr is the actress, but Julie Andrews is singing...(only in this video, not the movie)

  • I noticed that Ben Kingsley sung as well. I still enjoyed it. Good Work.

  • hmm...R.I.P Yul Brynner..=]

  • $100000000 for anyone who will make a hoopskirt as large as Ms. Kerr's fly around like that. :P

  • Go to Funny Girls in Blackpool, England. There is a drag queen there called Betty Legs-Diamonds who does this on stage with a skirt twice the size, it's hilarous.

  • I'm not sure, but I'd pay good money to see any of them try

  • How come nobody today flounces around so easily in an enormous gown like Deborah Kerr does?? :/

  • lol. nobody does it like ms. deborah.

  • so did she sing all the songs in that movie ? Lovers her !

  • No. Marni Nixon did the recording but you can get the Julie Andrews version on cd.

  • no debra carr sang it

  • nahh debra carr acted it**Marni Nixon dubbed for her..

ive seen clips of them practicing together so they could make it look liek seh was singing so it was like perfect !

  • I think you might be mistaken - Marni Nixon sang for Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady but as far as I am aware Debra Kerr sang in this film herself.

  • uh no...I'm a Julie Andrews fan so I know full well about MFL....I own all the special edition movies of Rodgers and Hammerstein because I love them....I can go and watch it now...Marni Nixon sang it...theres a ton of clips of them moving around and practicing to sing like each other...
