how to un-knit, the easy way

This is excellent, I will definitely try this method. My only question is how does this work on lace knitting? How do you account for the YOs, and SSKs etc? Or will it not work in those circumstances? Thanks again.

This IS with knit stitches :-)

Stockinette on circular needles is done by knitting each and every stitch.

i, too, have been knitting for almost 15 years and had never known that this could be so easy! This technique really saved me tonight when i had to take out 3 rows of a cable pattern because i had dropped one purl stitch! Thanks so much, you saved my project. (:
