I'm the current coach/instructor for Marion High School Color Guard- the time of this accident I was the head coach/instructor for Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School Color Guard...I had witnessed Bianca perform her solos at ISDTA along with many other talented individuals...however, when Bianca spun she stood out. She was a charismatic guard member and the news of this was devastating to even the competition schools. In guard it's not about competition but being a team who love to spin together.

i was lucky enough to know Bianca Vocke. she was a great friend and a great person. and everyone who knows her misses her so much. and she died Dec. 11. which is tomorrow. and this piece was performed beautifuly. a great way to remember her.
