When you get older, you can't drive into the paint as much, that's why Dirk developed that jumpshot. Compare Dirk now to when he was younger, he'd drive a lot more. A lot of older players rely on a jumpshot rather than post-dunks.

that's what separates Kobe from the rest of the players; He is constantly evolving and adding different techniques what have you in his game. It's not really so much about coppying since you can only create so much style in playing basketball. I mean moves are just variations from players to players if that makes sense. :)) But if you want to stay competitive in the NBA or in anywhere actually, you can't stay the same for so long but rather need to have some evolvution.
