I don't think I understand this fully. When you say chance, does that mean that some will get to play the full game and some don't? And why will you just release a beta at first, and wait til february to release the full game together with RoE? I'm confused. If you think the game is complete, then it is. I think you know more about this than most of us do. I want the full game now, I can't wait any longer. You can just release some updates later if there is need for it :)

It's 05.16 in Sweden right now, so December is already over for us. But we will get the mod soon, I know we will. I think he's only playing it through now to see that everything is done, with no glitches and such.

I'm working on it, been 10 hours yesterday. Today no less. I finished work on the Hell map, it turned out great. I'm looking forward to finish the other maps within the next 2 days and then go over them all once more to iron out the last flaws.
When that is done, I will give the mod a first chance to show its face to the public and later update it once more with RoE and further tweaks.

1): 60 FPS is the CAP for the DOom 3 Engine, Midnight.
2): Now there's new GFX Cards. Well now if you say the quality is a lot better, GTX 280 Mod or 4870 x2 Mod? Whatever you would prefer, they both sound nice to me.
Well for me, I have 2 4870 x2's in Crossfire plus the core i7 940, and it runs really smooth. 60 FPS 1920 x 1200 no problem, and never goes below it, even for a huge majority of the lag conditions. Except when spamming of course.
First of all, the cap is no longer at 60fps, I capped it at 200 now. Because of the Nvidia 3D Glasses that will be introduced shortly, you will need to play at 120hz in order to use them, so you have to be able to play with 120fps as well.
I dont know what you try to compare to, you havent ever played this mod. Your Doom 3 even ran with 60fps on a 6800 Ultra, 4 years ago already.
This one sure wont, but your system is way enough for it though.
The two creepiest-parts in the video in my opinion are when you hear the almost musical" Bum, Bumb," at the end of the level-video & than the sounds in the bathroom. Creepy, Creepy!!!
As creepy as it is to see right now in this video, it will be even creepier when you actually play it. Especially at night during a dark & stormy night. Spooky!!!
Could you do a video where you have all the monsters spawned but have notarget on so they dont see you and just go up close to them so we can see the details on them.

Thats why there haven't been any videos in a long time and there won't be many in the future as well.
But this is also the last stage of development, yes we are getting closer to a release which will be some time in Dezember by the way.

Yes that is true. RoE will not be included and not fully playable with the beta but I think I will get it done in February or so.
Dont worry it wont be another 10 months for sure. :P
Well you will get the chance to become a part of this mod, by giving me your feedback I can cusotmize it to your and other people's idea.

stable at 60+ if you enable vSync (Which I recommend)
MAybe you will have to cut down on either the resolution or AA. MAybe only x8 AA instead of x16 at something like 1680x1050
This depends on your vRAM, I dont know how it will perform with a 512mb card. It should do well though

Yea the Oblivion mod wont be around in a LONG time though.
I'm really busy at the time and the GX2 mod is barley moving forward. But no worries, I'll be able to make the Dezember release.
But then I will not have time for any new projects in a while.
In about a year from now I'll be able to work on mods a lot though.
Till then better GPUs are avaiable too, allowing me to push the graphics even further. ;-)
